If you had to make two choices, which would you chose?

1) Stay where you are, and with who you have known

or

2) Pick up and start all over, no matter the risk if it means you may be happier?

Live long and be happy........ ;)

sometimes the risks are well worth the rewards

Risk it. Happiness is all you got. I did and managed to get over my loss, kick my heroin infatuation, and get help for my depression. All in all I'm much happier now.

#2

In June of 1999, I ended my jobs and marriage to begin a new life 2000 miles away. So far, it's working.

wow..... I would love to hear some of the stories behind these decisions?

Mistress, been there, done that. Option 1 was my choice. Seems to be working okay so far. But I will always wonder.

I opted for choice one three times... and each time I have kicked myself in the ass for it......

You should always follow your heart... because it doesn't lie

I did option number 1 enough to know that if I'm thinking of number 2, I need to do it. So, yes, I say #2.

I know...

leaving all you've known is always hard..... but sometimes you have to leave.... maybe not now... but someday....

I was too scared to leave once.... Change scared the hell out of me... So I stayed... stayed in a situation that I should've left..... but I thought it was the best thing to do. I didn't want to hurt anyone... or make anyone mad... but I found out the hard way that sometimes you have to do things for you..... and let everyone else handle themselves...

Be patient but don't think that the grass is always greener with someone else, you may find yourself immensely disappointed.

Exactly. It was hard, but ultimately, my choice is the right one for me. Mistress, you're the only one who can answer this. Only you know what's in your heart. But I bet you haven't invested that much time in your relationship for it to be just too much to break it. And what is right for another, is not necessarily right for you. I often wish that if I were younger, I had made different choices. Maybe this is your chance?

Door #2

I've done it and I'm stronger, smarter, braver and have loads more respect for myself. No, it's not easy, but is anything in this world that's worth anything ever truely easy?

*hug* just in case you need it.
