Twitter guidelines

This doesn't sound like it's going to remain the same:

“My strong intuitive sense is that having a public platform that is maximally trusted and broadly inclusive is extremely important to the future of civilization,” “I don’t care about the economics at all.” “If in doubt, let the speech — let it exist,” said Musk. “If it’s a grey area, I would say, let the tweet exist.” “But in a case where there’s perhaps a lot of controversy, you would not necessarily want to promote that tweet.” “I’m not saying I have all the answers here..." “But I do think that we want to be very reluctant to delete things, and just be very cautious with permanent bans. Timeouts, I think, are better than permanent bans.” “A good sign as to whether there’s free speech is, is someone you don’t like allowed to say something you don’t like? If that is the case then we have free speech.” “And it’s damn annoying, when someone you don’t like says something you don’t like. That is a sign of a healthy, functioning, free speech situation.”
Good luck on your expectations

I agree with this. But it’s not Twitter, Facebook, Truth Social or Literotica.

Truth Social is first on the list of Top Free Apps. It does not appear on the list of Must-Have Apps, nor on Everyone’s Favorites, nor on Editors’ Choice Apps, nor on the lists of New & Noteworthy, Stay Informed or Explore Your Interests.
Pretty sure Elon knows he has nothing to worry about with regard to Truth Social. He’s obviously having fun on Twitter these days.

So he fooled you.
You and he didn’t mention which list it topped, but you shared your amusement anyway.

It's not about teh "free speech", it's all about the oligarchy.

The longterm audience trend for Twitter doesn't look so good either. Remember when the under-24 demographic deserted Facebook? The up-and-coming under 24 demographic went directly from Instagram to TikTok, bypassing Twitter altogether.

Where is that moderation? You call any number of people names on here, the very kinds of things that Twitter so proudly bans, what are the consequences? I see none at all.
So if Must isnt going to change anything... why are the employees so apoplexic?

I believe the real apoplexy by the left and especially the employees is not based on a fear of people (who agree with them politically anyway) being "marginalized" but rather they fear revelation of the hidden and unpublished algorithms employed to censor perfectly allowable (under their stated guidelines) speech that they just didnt want being shared. And it IS going to come out.
Why would a political party care about how twitter algorithms were programmed? You sound like a lunatic.

Someone's proud of their comic and must make sure every thread contains it

And it's dumb. The "woke progressives" are not the monolithic Left that Trumpies fear.
The progressive, woke, left is the Boogeyman who wants to take your children, your house and you society....whether it exists in reality never matters....it gets the votes.

No, but a lot of “those dirty Libz” are expressing deep fears over what might happen. Oh well.
The only thing I've seen everywhere are right wing dipshits talking about the libz who are crying over it. I've yet to actually see a real person that has done so.

The closest I've seen is a few people who don't use Twitter deleting their account.

Opinion pages and Twitter itself are full of screams. Some of my favorites among more well known individuals and orgs include Elizabeth Warren, Robert Reich, ACLU, and Media Matters

Yah, no wonder your window of reality is so skewed. Twitter is fairly quiet for me.....just because people have lots of followers doesn't actually mean that their opinion is one that everyone else shares.

You have to realize that he never reads or watches any of the current news on any of the media sources out there. Instead he uses Lit to get his daily information on what's happening.

Which means he "never sees" anything because he doesn't look.

Case in point...

We're talking about Twitter, not news media, dipshit. News media doesn't represent actual people
What news media? The ones you don't pay any attention to before you shoot off your mouth on Lit? That news media?

And of course there's at post of yours about how you get all your "news" from twitter. You know, those "actual people" you're supposedly talking about here. The ones you don't follow because your twitter feed is "quiet"...
