Regardless of all the stuff out there saying fluoride is toxic, at the levels it is put into water it is safe, and beneficial.
Why do people continue to believe the nay-sayers despite the reputable studies (Harvard, Institute of Health, etc) that show zero adverse effects?

Because it is a Communist plot to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids. DUH!

Where I grew up, the water was naturally fluoridated and I never heard of anybody having any problem with it.

People believe lots of things that are contrary to science. Sometimes it makes me actually very sad. Sometimes it makes me grouchy at Jenny McCarthy.

That last sentence is just wrong.

Why? Because she is very attractive? Because she let you gaze upon her magical vagina? If someone uses their entertainment-earned celebrity to promote a dubious medical claim that affects millions of children and families, and then refuses to put forth an apology or retraction when said claim is revealed to have its roots in gut-churning dishonesty, then that person deserves castigation. Stop being a boob-zombie, boob-zombie!

That last sentence I understood.

I read an article in some science mag at the dentist that claims the groups that publish stuff about fpuoride causing bone cancer were wrong because Harvard did a study that showed no correlation. They named some companies putting out this info.
I haven't looked for the study yet.

Well aren't you exasperating. I'm going to put so much fucking fluoride in your water. Your teeth are going to be so goddamn healthy.

That's okay. I'm gonna flood your sinks, toilets, and tubs w/dihydrogen monoxide . Your body's gonna be so damned wet and not thirsty.

Mike Yate's dishwasher told me fluoride wasn't safe, and it lies a hell of a lot less than you.

She's not that attractive to me, even aside from her ignorance/insanity/irresponsibility.

He seems to have trouble with understanding entire paragraphs.

I laughed at boob-zombie.

That describes a lot of the people who listened to her to a T.

People are bad at judging statistics and causation. Even pigeons will develop superstitions. "I flapped my wings, and someone fed me. Ergo, flapping wings causes feeding. I will now flap my wings." Humans are the same way.

Get real.

It's a fucking insecticide.

It's naturally occurring in almost everyone's water. It's added in higher concentrations than is usually natural but very high concentrations are absolutely dangerous.
