Do you remember event in your life that dramatically changed your life? Do you wonder what your life would be like if you would have done it differently?

I have had several "standing at the crossroads" occassions. I could have been dead a few times over, too.

I don't even wonder about the "what ifs". I can spend too much time with the hypothetical, and it is better if I don't.

Yes...a few times. I think life altering 'events' are good for me in as much it just makes me make a decision or take a direction. Im not saying that they were the right decisions but I made them !

There was one event in my life that changed me in general, which in effect changed my life. I think I would have been a totally different person otherwise.

I wonder what my life would have been like if it didn't happen but it wasn't something that I could have done different, I was just along for the ride.

I was accepted for a Naval ROTC scholarship. The physical was scheduled for the same weekend as the National Debate Qualifying tournament. I called my recruiter, asked if it could be rescheduled. He said "Sure". He didn't. It wasn't. I didn't get the scholarship. I'm not dropping bombs on Iraq.
