I was pretty much done with school of the first day of kindergarten.



I guess that's why I ended up signing up at 17.
 
Yeah, I don't know. I had a funny way of reacting to that stuff. Basically, I was like the ex-housemate's dumb little dog - I put my head down and took my beating, the difference being, somewhere in my intuitive self, I knew better.


I then discovered that much of what I had been taught just wasn't so. Not that they lied to me - they didn't know, either.


Learning how to play the game of Life is like learning to play blackjack at the table - it's gonna be expensive.

On most subjects, my habit of voracious reading left the curriculum and other students in my rear-view mirror. Most of the time, I was simply bored as fuck and wanted to get back to my books or just run wild outside.



I didn't stay quiet about it either. :devil:
 
We had a barn full of tools below and materials above and free reign to use all to our content.


There was even a mechanic's pit which was the equivalent of a lift when the barn was first erected.
 
The grand-parental unit didn't have one of those, perhaps because its floor would have been below sea level, literally (I think). It was close.


I'd like one of those - maybe one day.


Or enough dirt to erect a metal building with enough headroom to install one of the new electric lifts. Those things are slick.


The cat is off somewhere, probably up to no good. I should probably be afraid, but I think I won't sweat it . . . for right now.

Partly because of work, but partly because of the level of moron here this morning.


Protected classes of people just seem to make Liberal people stupid, and even worse, at size seven.
 
That number is too low. With the morning after pill and MTX that number is probably 5 times that.

I was always bored in school too. I moved so much that I think there only two years where I actually completed in the same school I started in so I never made many friends and I read a lot instead. It would have been great if the internet had been around for me then.

And my household has grown by a fur ball. The neighbours cat has been around a lot the last few days and even come inside with the dogs a couple times. He's a senior fellow and I thought something might be wrong with him so I took him back yesterday just to find out his owners are assholes. They moved last week and left him behind. The guys talked and he shall be spending his remaining time with us, they named him Milton.

As for infrastructure spending, other than the interstates, it should be local spending. The Federal government takes our tax money, keeps $.40 of every dollar and then rewards spending based upon political choices. This is why infrastructure crumbles. Once the money is gone, no one gives it a second thought.

Trump's comment this morning that this is the "calm before the storm" while surrounded by military officers was enough to interrupt bladder control in the startled media breathlessly asking what he meant and hearing his answer "you'll see.":D

I never met my graduating class, literally. The family used long-standing political connections to get me graduated and into Junior college. I spent more time there drinking beer and playing foosball than anything else.

When I finally did go to college, with the exception of two instructors, one entertaining and one who scared the living shit out of me (and as it turns out, for good reason) I rarely attended class. I went into the finals for a 400-level Comp Sci class and some of the kids turned around and asked me, "Are you in the right place?"

Of course on day one, I figured out that the instructor's PhD was based on flawed math and when I presented if to the scary PhD from Harvard, he had a real good laugh over it...

Both true but the fact remains that some forms of birth control are chemical abortions which aren't added into the statistics.

BTW I am pro-choice, it's not my business what someone else chooses.

Or because wholesome debate changed people's minds and philosophies. The is also the advancing technology that allows people to see a fetus in the womb and the stark imagery and reality hits them, that's not a lump of tissue, that's a human being. I can see it...

Now in our subcultures who are not well-educated, oftentimes by choice, the rates are still very high. Now, I'm not going to mention who those citizens are because they are in one of the more important groups of unassailable victims and mentioning them causes Progressives to have meltdowns.


And as a parting thought, let us not ignore the impact of increasing affluence, thanks to Capitalism, on birthrates in general wherever it is tried. A certain selfishness takes hold which causes people to take more care in not having children in order to better "enjoy" their life instead of sacrificing it for someone else. Those who mostly "need" abortion are those whom lack the tools to become affluent, again, usually by way of choice.

It came too early this morning. The water softener was cycling when I first woke up, so I had to put off my shower. I haven't missed much; the stupid is in full swing still.

Too bad he fucks up weekends by expecting us to visit his places of worship, spend time thinking about him and others more and less about ourselves, and to spend money for others and to maintain his power and glory here on earth.

Yeah, I'm pro-choice, too, but you still can't make me believe that it's just a lump of cell, because if you didn't fuck with it and kill it, it'd grow into a human. But you went and fucked with it and killed it and you try to justify that by de-humanizing it as being less than human and not worthy of life. And the rate of abortions is staggering compared to the drops-in-the-bucket that constitute firearms homicides. Go read about the de-humanization of the Japanese in US propaganda during WW2. And that of the Injuns from the 19th century.
