Three racks of baby backs and a shoulder roast which will be pulled for sandwiches. Homemade rub, Apple juice basting during the smoking, and homemade sauce to finish. Baked some beans and friends are bringing the rest.

The grocery store is an annoying mile off - could be walked, but the carry home would suck, and there are no sidewalks, so there's no wheeling it home, either.

I'm pretty grateful just for being able to get up there as often as I do. There isn't much of the state I haven't been into at least once, but just the time of day can make each place a diifferent sight to behold. It's amazing what happens when things are viewed in a different light and I've been fortunate to have a lot of light in my life as well.
