The shotgun sings the song...

I report KingO for violating Forum Guidelines and she started paying attention again.

I got slapped down for more tan 5 paragraphs and immediately reported him for a wall of text he got away with and asked for equal protection under the rules.:D

I can see the parking area, chain link fence, and weeds from the empty lot behind it but it's the only window in the shop and it felt so claustrophobic with the plywood up.

Front porch.

I had to taunt Laurel for a long time about the double standard before any action was taken. Can't say for sure that it was me, because there were a lot of smacked down posters who had somewhat of an axe to grind.

I just traveled through some really scenic landscapes. I trust your trip was fruitful as well?

I dunno...

It was full of people. I hate crowds.

I especially hate crowds of touring, obnoxious school groups.

Clearly, they do not teach manners, decorum or respect for other people's space anymore.

I get (understand) claustrophobia, especially after flying on what the airlines industry currently considers passenger transportation. They'll fly UPS in the biggest plane possible and then pack people into a sardine tin and beat them up over their luggage. Next time, I'm sending myself UPS in a freaking crate with plenty of scenic landscapes.

Ishmael

Nice. Looks like prime Elk and Deer country.:)

You have to treat it like one of those pictures from the 80s where you had to stare very intently at the pattern in order to get the real picture.

I see coyotes, skunks, 'possum and one skinny redbone hound with a spit of chaw in the middle of his forehead...

:D

... he's growling at the Outlaw Ishmael Wales.

I don't know Laurel but I'd hope there isn't an ideological bent to her disciplinary actions.

My trip was relatively free of large crowds until I entered Glacier National Park which was only open up to the Avalanche Gate from the West side.

Oh good Gawd, back when this all began, this was her political salon.

When Bush won the election, she was in the stolen election crowd and she wanted him impeached over the missing Ws. Either they weren't missing and Bush was lying, or they were missing and he refused to go get the real criminals. She was one of those people who would happily get on their knees for...

Next time, go in the dead of winter.

Seriously.

That's absolutely gorgeous, you are a lucky man

The UPS packages are treated better that's for sure. I do my share of flying as well and it's always stressful.

Too damn cold in the Winter for my blood and driving in Montana in the dead of Winter can be brutal.:)

I admire anyone who lets a Redbone hound hang around.

You need to be of sterner stuff to vacation. For me it was Claustrophobia, crowds, traffic and indifferent service...

Monday the fat guy is gone and just one more to get going so you can run the place the way you want Wat?

As for me, I'm sitting at the shop, the glass I need came in early so they are coming today to install. It will be nice to see outside again instead of plywood.

No, ma'am, I'll just be happy with one fewer wide-ass with big feet and an "old football injury" limp. He has bad feet is why he never went far in the pigskin game. I like the PM - now that he (finally!!!) likes me - and I like the other guy, even if his Inner Jerseyite comes out sometimes. I get to fix the place the way I want, mostly, and that's pretty well good enough by me.

Good for you they got your window fixed. I know the closed-in feeling you mention, and I think it sucks nationwide.

The Jersey-boy left early to go to the doctor. He's had a cough since I've been there, so he has bronchitis, walking pneumonia, or TB. We'll hear about it on MOnday, I presume.

And that's a nice MT mountain piccie. It makes me want to go back . . . .

Absolutely Breath- taking.
They reminded me of parts of my childhood.

You should visit South- Eastern Europe, or China. Those are mystical places, they make one feel closer to God.

He is an absolute sweetie, and I'm glad he joined us. Did you have one in your past?

That's great news then! Hopefully, they keep out of your way and let you keep doing what you do best.

When Junior arrives will he have the grandpup with him?

Ishmael comes and goes.

As of late he is more gone than anything. More's the pity, but the trolling here makes reasonable people want to go do something more productive.

:(

Nice cool morning which is nice since I'll be pushing freight, but from here on out, the weather people are telling me that the heat and humidity are going back to normal averages which basically means 80º and 80%...

I really need to weed the garden. I, as I mentioned harvested snow peas and we are picking raspberries, blue berries and blackberries. Soon the wild blackberries will be ready to pick also. I have green beans almost ready to harvest and the strawberries still have blooms but our house sitter picked and ate most of them (as the Queen told her she could do). I have some compost to plant, that actually should have been planted before vacation, but I just never got around to it.

I have one mower up and ready to go and a second one that just needs the belt rerouted but taking the deck on and off is a real pain in the ass.

Happy Saturday. It was truly a joy to go to bed early and just to sleep through the night knowing that the alarm was set in the "off" position.

No, sadly, he'll just be coming with the wife-person I'm not sure who takes care of the dog, but they do have some people working for them in that department. I think they have a person/service that comes by and walks him early afternoon. Maybe s=not now, since she's done with school, but I think so for the school season.

They have put him in to be promoted to senior manager. In four years, he's eligible to be made a partner, assuming he gets this one. He hasn't missed one yet.

The trolls kept me away for a while but I can make friends with old goats and they tend to keep the way clear.

And 80*/80% isn't bad if that is what you're used too, actually it's hard to leave high humidity areas when your body has grown up in them.

You're garden does sound lovely though.
