I like rodents too, tree rats, thumpers, night bandits and marsupial rats. BUT, without predation in urban settings, they quickly overpopulate their welcome and need to be reduced.

Sadly the house marauders were busy last night and the leftovers are reduced too so cooking must happen today. Off to make another pot of coffee and get started on the never-ending chore list.

Made some burgers with chuck and hot Italian sausage, garlic powder, diced onion, a couple of eggs and some bread crumbs. Needs tinkering, but it's awfully darned close.

Finally got the wiring straightened out.................and DONE!!! Nothing to do until the drywall guys finish making their mess.

Going to fire up the chiminea in a bit and have the neighbors over for an evening of conversation.

Maybe another meat seasoning to go with it. I think I overdid the garlic just a bit.


I looked at some of the seasoning packs, and they seem to be full of salt - no surprise there.


Glad we got our wiring thingies taken care of. Mine still needs attention, but it's sound for now. Bonus time, we'll do a new panel. And maybe some lizard-hide boots.
