Heavy T-Storms for us today as well. They usually fire up in the late afternoon, early evening. The more the merrier.

The tires are gonna be good for 4K for one and 8K for the other, assuming I ride them conservatively-to-"normal," which is most likely. I'm not pushing the damned thing that hard. I don't "straighten" roads. What I'm trying to sort out is, am I better off buying the tires for cheaper online and learning to do this myself or just paying the man and having it taken care of? decisions decisions . . . .


The rest of the 10K mile check-up I can sort out doing for myself, I think.


First thing I'll do when I get the bike back is change the oil filter he changed, unless he can show me why I should keep what he put on. Like, it's K&N. Otherwise, fuck it.

It's 110 here and that's golfing weather, my son says.
We haven't been on the course together for a long time, and we have to wait until his day off tomorrow, when it will also be 110, before we tee off with our friends at 2 p.m.
I am looking forward to it.
 
Reminds me of the first time I visited Harrah’s auto collection back in the 70’s.
