The "information age" has just made people more uniformly stupid, expressing the same easily discredited "thoughts" in the same way, endlessly.

When debated, they Google and Google (which already knows where the stand in any particular issue) serves them up a second for their battle of wits who agrees with the idea just patiently, and thoroughly debunked. Lots of their weak citations are even helpfully labeled as chequers of "faques."

Then I stick my nose back in here and it makes me wonder, how many Litsters could I kill in how long with a salad fork???


I'm going to wander over here now and resume my more meditative state . . . while others babble because they're off their medicated states . . . .

Went up to see some folks I haven't seen in awhile. In too damned long. They moved, so there were different roads to travel, and a bit earlier, too.


Going through a small town on the way up (even got to put the top down for that bit), a tree rat who had just spiked up was staggering across the road. I thought, I might bip him. He didn't change course, and neither did I. Yep, he got bipped. I blame the car.


It would make a tremendous bike ride going up that route again. Motorcycle. The Motor Company. Harley-fucking-Davidson!!!

Morning Wat.

Actually got some rain last night, not a lot but enough to say it rained. The timing was both ironic and fitting...........today is irrigation day.

Off to the range in a bit.............maybe............have to check on road conditions.
 
We have rain as well, I guess the drought is over but it's too late for much of the seed corn. They are already ploughing under, filing insurance and planting green manure to make the best of the situation.

Couldn't sleep last night so puppers got treated to a late night walk around the neighbourhood. Came across a racoon and my hound opened up and sang the song of his people trying to get at it. Not sure the neighbours are happy with me today but I put the live traps out again and who knows, maybe I'll get a new housecat.
 
The ex g/f's Basset was so pleased with herself anytime she cornered something. Her first experience here was herding the (then) three cats into one room. They all sat on their side and hissed mightily at her. She let out her woof every 10 seconds or so to let us know of her hound-doggie success.


The second was when she treed a coon one night. It was dark and it took me a trip to get a flashluight to see what she had done this time. Bitch got a tad indignant when we dragged her inside.


The song of her people is less expressive but her singing was very . . . persistent.


A few cat treats got her back to thinking about herself . . . .

Tell us again how Planned Parenthood clinics are "usually" set up in Black or Hispanic neighborhoods, chico. :rolleyes:

If I recall correctly, AJ wanted this alt to be a pretend sympathizer to Progressives when he first created it. Now it's just AJ. :eek:
 
There are some weeks when making it half way is an accomplishment, this is one of them.

I've already informed the guys that the pizza place is cooking tonight and there will be overtime all next week but the week after we are on shutdown and there will be holidays.
