But here is what I came to say (I would start a thread, but we all know what would transpire):

I am watching the protests of the G7 summit. When asked why they were protesting, the typical response was along the lines of, they don't care about the little people.
Now, since I don't think that they are referencing pygmies, midgets and dwarves, they must be talking about themselves, but it occurs to me that something in the way their world is working allows them the leisure and the resources to actually give the time and expense to go protest. It just seems to be more "compartmentalization."

Of course, the European "leaders" are taking the time to virtue signal to the Socialists, Progressive, Fabians and the #MeToo trendies that they hate Trump for fighting back against their arrogant tariffs designed to put the EU first because, Trump has the temerity to declare that he puts the US first.

Being "oppressed", like being a 'victim', is mostly a state of mind. An excuse to sit on your ass and whine.

Or a degree for a winning season followed by a multi-million-dollar contract and endorsements leading to a life of leisurely protesting.
 
And then when they graduate (if they do) they found that they got a degree in a field that pays for shit, assuming there's any demand at all, and they have a mountain of debt from all of the "free" money that got them into college to begin with. So they keep on protesting how they're soooooo "oppressed" never realizing that their wounds were all self-inflicted.
