Yeah, the joys of dealing with county gummint.

On the other hand, I was able to reduce my last "tax" bill substantially. I didn't have much luck with the city the last go-'round, but oh well. They certainly need to money. Too bad they fuck up so much of it.

I think that I have enough ammo to deal with any homeowners association that any fool decides to attempt to start up in my 'hood.

And on that note, there's dem plumbers what need met. Pronounce the B, please . . . .

I'm lucky in that my county government is pretty much dedicated to the principle of laissez-faire.

This means that a ten-acre plot with a half-million dollar home on it might be book-ended by two half-acre lots with mobile homes on them. Life is good in the forest.

Here in the north, we are still pup watching this week but also the parts finally showed for the computer systems upgrades so I'll be chugging coffee and doing those.

Glad you're still among the living WK but I bet you would be a lot of fun as a poltergeist.

Busy day. Laundry, sheets and towels; beds are made and spaghetti sauce from scratch is finished and simmering. Half of it will be for now and half of it will be bagged, vacuum-sealed and headed to the freezer. I seriously need to defrost the sucker, the ice is trying to climb out.

Maybe this weekend.

Went to the bookstore and picked up two books, then went to the dollar store and picked up three, one of them is about Barry Goldwater as told in his writings, speeches and recorded conversations and put together by his son and a professional writer. Sometimes going back and reviewing history gives a much better insight into current history. It also helps correct the smearings of the political forces aligned against the person.

Oh yeah, and I had to get the Cougar inspected in order to pay taxes.
What one has to do with the other, I don't know, other than it's and additional $12 into the state treasury. Of course, I passed with flying colors. I maintain the shit out of my vehicles.

Just how backward is that State?

Sounds like busy folks today, which is good. The plumbers were a mistake - they come tomorrow early. No matter, Wat is ready for them sumbitches.

I hope to fuck they don't send the st000pid crew. Oh wait . . . .

Can't decide what's for supper.

I got some expanding foam on my hand by mistake. Peeling the shit off is beginning to peel some hide with it. That's some kinda stickin' shit.

We aren't so backwards that we don't know to wear some sort of glove when handling expanding foam.

Working on organizing and cleaning today, the never-ending project.
It's nice to feel good again. ~~ SWEET! ~~

~~ DUDE! ~~

Most folks have figured out that vehicle inspections are nothing more than a scam. Looks like your state isn't living up to its motto. :D

Range day today. Have to roll earlier this time of year to beat the heat.

I intend to begin working at first light.
There's no electricity up in the pole barn.

And it falls hardest on the poor, the elderly, women, minorities, and more importantly the children that depend on them.

*sniff* *sniff*

The moon should be taxed for the damage that it causes by exerting so much pull on the earth.

No, I've managed to avoid falling into any fires lately.

But I did burn my leg on the bike exhaust the day after I got it. I thought about that a day or two ago. I don't remember how I manged it, but I recall the pain.

Silly old bear.

Bike. Motorcycle. Harley fucking Davidson!!!

I knew a guy back in the day who was in a car wreck as an infant that severed his spine and left his legs useless. One time he was riding with the guys on the back of a dirt bike and practically cooked his legs.

I know. Not all that pleasant a morning thought. ;)

I'm going for more coffee now that it no longer makes me sick. :)

Hell, Rolling Thunder will create jitters after 2.5 cups...

;)

Even less if you add a lot of sugar.
