A few days ago, I got the leaf cover off. What an Allah-send it was.
Then I began draining off the water on the top tarp. It was full of tadpoles and fine gunk. But, because it was old, and I knew it was, and patched, it did leak water, so once I finally got it off, the second, new, tarp is still covered with water, which I am draining off now.
So, I have a meal on and I will take a nap and then finish the job, but then again, yesterday, tornados passed to the north of us, rain passed to the south (there is a local Indian myth about that phenomenon) but now, it is getting darker than it is getting lighter, so who knows?
I might just pull that sucker off and then treat the hell out of the water that is left in the pool. Who knows? It might work...

Got all the seams done on the front portion. it's just too fucking hot in the sun for that shit.


Looks like decent weather tomorrow, too, so I'll hit it right after dawn when it's nice and cool and coat the field areas.


I'm not in shape for that shit, either.

Had dinner with Mom. Visited a couple of friends. Home. Off to bed shortly so as to get some sleep to be up early.

Up in time to catch first shift up topside. It rained last night, so that is if it's dry enough to coat.


No matter if it isn't. I think I got all the problem areas done by hand yesterday.


Worst comes to worst, I could always coat it tomorrow morning before I split.

I hope you got it covered (pun intended) yesterday. Roof leaks can be a real PITA. Especially on pitched roofs. The damn leak appears to be here but it's actually leaking over there somewhere.

I think that I did get it, really. I'm going to find out soon, according to the forecast, which has gotten a bit wetter overnight. I found some really good suspects and got them loaded up with either roof sealant or coating - or both.


I may go up and look anyway, but it's going to be slick, and that ain't worth the downside, so to speak.
