My quiet day for tomorrow has possibly changed to "places to be". Not yet sure how that will shake out.

Everyone's relatives heading here for the winter weather.

Carolyn told me last weekend that she'd really like to move there to retire.

She likes the area and the dryness helps her breathing a lot.

I'm thinking Deep South, but as long as I could ride every day, that's close enough.

And why am I considering what this woman wants anyway??? This is all provided that I outlive Mom, which I might not do, and I'm planning to outlive you lot, so . . . .

I'm truly thankful for grubby clothes to put in the washing machine. And for wonderful liquid detergent to toss in after them.

I'm grateful for the messes the cats make. Poop in the litter boxes, dry food scattered on the kitchen floor, and dirty dishes from the canned stuff.

Truly, messes are the sign from Allah that all is well.

Now if the son of a bitch would just send warmer weather . . . .

I have to be honest, due to work schedules, we had Thanksgiving dinner on Monday. I feels odd not having any cooking to do today.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. We had ours a while ago and did steaks and roast for it because no one here is a big turkey fan, I think it's more about the company than the food.

That is the cue for Spearechucker to check in, enough is enough, where the hell are you?

While having breakfast a thought crossed my mind that was in keeping with the spirit of this thread. Genetically modified Turkeys that taste like bacon.

Hmmm I seem to be one of the only person in this thread to celebrate Thanksgiving properly.

Happy Thanksgiving, philistines!

Turkey, stuffing, squash casserole and cranberry sauce.

Enjoy your pizza and burgers!
