I remember the story starts off with the guy returning to his home town. He moves into an apartment and eventually gets talking with his old friend.
She's from a rich family, her mother only approves of rich boyfriends etc, she was "normal" I.E. rebellious but when he returned she was everything her mother wanted her to be, she was also stressed from this.
They get together halfway through the story after some Drama, she dates (possibly engaged, fiancƩ?) a rich dude 30% through the story (think he's works in television) but brakes up after thinking of the main character during boring sex i think.
I think she wants some bdsm/spanking or possibly rough sex (mby anal?) from the main guy cause her prim proper life us stressing her out etc.
At the end (70-80% through the story) they get together and she convinces her mom that she loves him and that works out eventually.
