If I may add my 2 cents' worth, I think that erotica means different things to different people. You may be doing this here because you love sex, love porn, love to be turned on and turn others on.

Many might use your pics, your vids for masturbation and self gratification or whatever, as they would porn. To me the main difference is in the reason why and how sexuality is put on display. The hardcore stuff that fakes emotions such as orgasms and is publicised for commercial gain, is porn.

Private people like yourself, expressing themselves for their own pleasure and that of others in artistic pictures, is erotica. And a lot of your pictures are art, there can be no doubt about that.

Thanks, Ekserb, for this great reply. I was thinking about this topic because people use the term erotic and erotica in different ways. For me, many things can be erotic, including porn, but erotica makes me think of a certain style or genre of art. What we're putting on here is probably porn, as our intention is to arouse and tease people, and we're fine with that. We wouldn't be doing this if we didn't love porn. We're making the kind of stuff that gets us off. I do think the way we're doing it, whether it's graphic or not, has artistic qualities, because that's also one of our intentions. Ultimately, like you said, it's in the mindset of the viewer.

It's not that I take issue with your opinion, but I'm curious: If this couple were to take these same photos and videos and make them available for paid download on a website, would they then become pornographic? The expressions between them are exactly the same and the original intent is unchanged, but the delivery system is different. What say you?
