I've been using Cubase for more than 12 years. It is a rather expensive 'pro' music production system. It has several basic capabilities:

  1. Recording of individual audio tracks
  2. Recording of individual MIDI tracks
  3. Virtual Instruments
  4. Audio Processing (Delay effects, dynamics, reverberation, modulation, equalization etc)
  5. Automated mixing of multiple audio tracks to stereo, or 5.1 Surround

It also has the capability to record multiple audio tracks at the same time, but I never record more than two. Usually, just one.

FYI, I reposted the screen shot with some additional annotation which, hopefully, will help you make some sense of what's in the frame.

Hello all! I hope everyone is doing well today! It looks like FC's Grande it too big for him to handle! ;) His caffeine high is wearing off, and now he's all cuddled up taking a nap to recover.

Thanks for explaining the screenshot. I'm a geek for that sort of thing, just ask CG. So you write your own music? And what's that little keyboard thing? Can you play chopsticks with your cursor on it? :D
