I hope you don't refrain, Lieren. I appreciate recommedations, and I'm sure others do as well. We often have varying opinions on here, and it seems like there was some miscommunication or misinterpretation, which is inherent to this environment.

Is the advice in the book similar to Mr. GGG's technique, or does it offer different tips that might be complementary? It'd be great if you'd be willing to give some details/how you achieved such an experience when you get a chance.

However, I don't think Lieren's intention was to be secretive...she likely was just excited about sharing a resource that helped her, and didn't think to elaborate. Apparently I have the opposite problem and elaborate too much for some , but we ask for more details all the time here, right?

I checked out the Amazon link Eudaemonia posted, and on a hunch, I went to my local library's website and searched for the book. Lo and behold, it's available both in hard copy and ebook form. Now we have an exceptional county library system here, but I'm guessing many libraries around the country have it in hard copy at least if anyone's interested.

So, I checked out the ebook, and I'll report back on what I think and anything that seems particularly exciting or worthwhile. If I get to looking now, we should be able to give something a test run tonight.

Strengthening thumb muscles?

Can anyone suggest some exercises for strengthening those thumb muscles? After a good 5-10 minutes the fatty chunk of my thumb feels like it's on fire.

I try to relax it by manuevering such that my arm is doing more work, but I still need the muscles for applying pressure.
