LOL it took a while but Mine had a small seal around the center. I took a knife and cut it around the seal and it came apart.appleapps said:

ok, yes that really is FS in the pic,,,, Ricoh, do you have that fireman's phone number?? lol,,,,,,,,,,,and unfortunately, my egg has the loose wire inside the egg itself, so looks like i will have to go and buy a new one,,,,,,,, gonna be a long few days till i can get my new one

pry the egg open...whatcha got to lose...it doesn't work now does it...see hwta you can do adn if ya get it working...superglue it back togther....but I do suggest you let the suprglue dry before using it, or Ricoh will be adlibbing your emergency room scene....
