I just read an article stating that the stock market is collectively overvalued by 77%

Microsoft is trading at 40X earnings.

The stock market is full of hot air, just like Trump, and it's bound to pop, just like Trump.

If Biden wins and the stock market tanks, just remember that it was artificially pumped up by Trump's tax policies which saw record stock buybacks and flight to stocks due to a low interest environment. The longer Covid goes on due to Trump's bungling the worse it's going to get as people get more and more hooked on the "wealth effect" that a stock bubble creates. The fact that the market is teetering right now while salivating over another stimulus package is a huge red flag.

The next crash in the stock market is going to be as ugly as the people who caused it; Trump and the republicans. If Trump wins re-election, think back to the last time a republican had eight years to destroy the economy. I believe the next time will be worse.

Never forget.

Aren't you one of the ones who was poo-pooing me after the crash when I said that the S&P would hit 3500 by the end of the year?

The market wisdom of the Left is amazing in it's total lack of understanding of all things economic or capitalistic.

As usual Harpy is confused. Go back through my posts if you like, I never once opined about the ultimate lengths to which greedy people would go to without regard for the consequences. And what that has to do with the premise of my thread is beyond me, but carry on......

This is Trump's and the republican's stock market, and it will be their crash, win or lose.

SAD!!!

Lol, as usual you'll anything to deflect from the question.

It's simple, ARE YOU OR ARE YOU NOT someone who tried to diss me for saying that the S&P will hit 3500 by the end of the year?

It's not that difficult of a question to answer. Yet, somehow you can't.

As for whose "market this is", if Trump is defeated, then whatever happens will be Biden's fault. Just like you and the rest of the dipwads on the Left have said it's Trump's fault every time the market dipped, or someone exploded a bomb, or another terrorist attack happened, or China launched a biowarfare weapon on the entire world, over the past 4 years.

As usual Harpy lack of reading comprehension has caused him to self own and look like the idiot he is.

I stated quite clearly that I NEVER opined on the matter. That means that NO, I didn't challenge your prediction on the S&P. And what does that have to do with the fact that Trump's and the republican's policies have created the conditions for an inevitable market crash???

It's like your stupid or something.

SAD!!!

I was called a fool, a fucking moron, a heartless piece of selfish Nazi shit and every other thing in the book for humping Amazon stock like a rabbit once the lockdowns started.

It was legit a once in a lifetime kinda fundamental neon sign, I only wish I had more to put in. I've doubled my money in 6 months and the holiday shopping season hasn't really even started.

If this thing blows through resistance this holiday season? Which it's lookin' GOOD! ohhhhh man it gets me giddy thinking about it.

Big DUMMY!

Blew his wad coming up with "Big Dummy?"

The dumb fuck doesn't realize that the stock market is still going to be overvalued and will still crash due to the dire economic conditions created by Trump and the republicans. He must not have listened to Powell today, warning about the precarious nature of the economy due to the ongoing Covid crisis.

The confluence of Trump and the republican's tax policies and Covid response failure will undoubtably take its toll on the markets in the near future. The overvalued stock market is a "red mirage" that is totally dependent on another huuuuge stimulus package, and continued tax cuts for the rich. Who will ultimately pay for those luxuries???

SAD!!!

The stock market is not a real-time evaluation of company valuation.*
It is a betting parlor focused on what the betters believe the economic future to be.
If the stock market tanks, it has nothing to do with value, but lack of investor confidence in the future.

Since you seem to be hyper-partisan, you should be praying that the investment class validates your choice by staying with their long-term economic wagers. (This is why they market tends to drop during elections - investors pull back in order to protect their assets.)

Policies drive investors and the market will tend to be more sensitive over things other than Party affiliation such as pissing away money into Green Energy which has proven not to be all that economically viable without massive transfers of public wealth. (In other words, if Biden decides that it is up to him to destroy the fossil fuel industry, then he will destroy the stock market save for the one sector that is favored because he will create market inefficiencies, but if he maintains the status quo and just throws some symbolic chump change at the "Red-Green Industry, then his administration will enjoy an expanding economy [because, again, investors/markets don't care about parties].)

* That would be the annual shareholder's report.
