So... to combat all the leaks, dangerous incompetence, and criticism against him in his own department (aka anyone who's trying to tell him "don't do THAT!!!"), Hegseth fires the DOD's advisory committees:

April 26 (UPI) -- U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has dismissed the members of DOD advisory committees, the department confirmed in a statement on its website.

"Secretary Hegseth appreciates the members' efforts on behalf of the department and the United States of America, but changes are needed to support the new strategic direction and policy priorities of the department and to ensure departmental resources are used efficiently," the Defense Department statement reads.

They are being replaced by 4 'new' advisors whose opinions fall in with trump's and will promote whatever he wants them to promote, giving trump borrowed credibility when he announces that decisions are being made by the DOD. Yes people, in other words.

Sean Parnell, Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs and Senior Advisor
Justin Fulcher, Senior Advisor
Patrick Weaver, Senior Advisor
Ricky Buria, Senior Advisor
