Yeah.. I know, and I also know that not everyone thinks like your president.
But.. you must admit, whether people are republicans or democrats, it does not really matter: there are a great majority of Americans who thinks that USA got nothing to do with the war in Ukraine.
Who does not understand why USA cannot do business with Russia (so much potential to earn money!)
Who cares more about what is going on in America, than that old and far away place that is Europe.
It is so easy to be lulled into the belief that USA is the big wallet, paying for everything.. but first of all: USA is approximately the same size as Europe.
And when it comes to the war in Ukraine, Europe stands for more than 60% of the aid/donations.
Telling us to step up and do more, I am starting to see some issues.
This whole situation is awfully complex and difficult.
It is national economy, private economy, private beliefs and values all mixed together.
But, the moment you have a leader who says that violence is the answer. Who starts to break 80 years of alliances, for own private gain. Who encourages to ethnic cleansing.
I cannot see how this can ever be fixed.
Donald Trump is now defying court orders. He is a tyrant who is above the law. He and his supporters are dismantling programs that are designed to help Americans who have fallen through the cracks while lowering taxes on those who are already rich.
They want the homeless and those with mental health issues to simply go away. Many are promoting the use of concentration camps in lieu of assistance.
This is only the first few weeks of this administration. It will get much worse.
