Trump visa ban blocking visitors to US will be applied to those with dual nationalities: State Department

The Dick-tater-tot ignores another law!

As if the late Friday executive action by President Donald Trump hasn’t already caused massive problems with green card holders and visitors to the United States, the State Department is in the process of issuing an advisory saying the visa ban will also be applied to those who claim nationality in two countries.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the State Department is set to extend Friday’s immigration and travel lockdown to other visitors coming and going from the U.S.

According to the statement, the 90-day ban imposed by the president’s executive action extends beyond citizens of Iraq, Iran, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Libya and Yemen.

Should a visitor who hails from one of those countries, but travels on a passport from another country, attempt to leave of visit the U.S., they could find themselves stranded.

“Travelers who have nationality or dual nationality of one of these countries will not be permitted for 90 days to enter the United States or be issued an immigrant or nonimmigrant visa,” the statement said. “Those nationals or dual nationals holding valid immigrant or nonimmigrant visas will not be permitted to enter the United States during this period. Visa interviews will generally not be scheduled for nationals of these countries during this period.”

‘Let them in!’: Protesters gather at JFK Airport to shout down Trump’s ‘unjust’ immigrant detentions

On Saturday afternoon, a protest at New York City’s John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) against Pres. Donald Trump’s draconian immigration policies swelled and gathered steam as Democratic politicians spoke and the crowd chanted “Let them in!” about immigrants being detained under the new policies.

“Mr. President, look around, this is America,” said U.S. Rep. Nydia Velzquez (D-NY) during a press conference. “What you’ve done is shameful. These are Americans.”

Trump’s ban on arriving refugees and even green card holders from certain countries is going to sow “confusion,” Velzquez said, “Not just among working families in America, but also, it’s creating confusion with the people who are working in Homeland Security. This executive order is arbitrary. It doesn’t provide real guidelines and it’s unjust.”

Trump signed sweeping executive orders this week banning Muslims from certain countries from entering the country and placing restrictions on immigration. On Friday night, customs and border control officials put the bans into effect and detained a number of individuals including an Iraqi man who performed heroic duties as a translator for the U.S. armed services during the Iraq War.

Trump shames US with policies based on fear

Trump is afraid, again and wants America to live in the same fear that he has. But fear is the tool of the despot. We will not be afraid to call Trump a coward who is correctly afraid that he is a failure as a person, a businessman and as a Presiddent.

Only 1453 more days of butt hurt Donald!

Out of fear? Unjust? No, try "national security" instead. When a country doesn't know anything about the background these people are coming from, or their extremeist status, why should they come into a country that has been threatened so many times? Have you seen what's happening in Europe with the flood of migrants? I sure as hell don't want to live in a town with a lot of those people acting like animals. Yeah, sure, it's not 100% of them, but the vocal minority speaks for them.

Give me a fucking break. This nydia velzquex need a wake-up call. How the fuck are those people Americans? Just because they don't want to live in their homeland, nor fight to keep their own homeland, that should NOT mean they need to be allowed to go to another country of their choosing where they will live for free. They aren't Americans, and if they want to visit, whether for a week or a decade, they need to follow the rules in place, and not bitch about having to do things the right way. Maybe the liberal maroons who are protesting this should instead offer to personally host the immigrants once the ban is lifted and they have passed a full screening. If they think it's a good idea, they can pay for it. I shouldn't have to.

No, it's pretty straight-forward. It's to the point. It says "no incoming people from 'x' place for 'z' days". How is that not a guideline? And yes, it is perfectly just. The US is only joining the other countries who limit immigration, and we're putting a big stopper in place before we figure out exactly who will be allowed in, and when.

Refugees are responsible for far less violent crime than natives are. Your "national security" argument is bollocks.

Handy, Those with visas have been vetted, that's how they got the visas. That is what the State Dept does, you know in our Embassies around the world. Those with Green Cards have been vetted by the Immigration section of Homeland Security. Trump is just ignoring the facts that they have been legally authorized to come here, so he can grandstand and act like he is "Saving America" when he is just playing like he is decisive. Trump is a twerp who has lost touch with reality and needs to be removed.

Don't Drink the Kool-aid, Critically think about what Trump has said, and realize that he is an Emperor with no clothes, or touch with reality. Trump did not get elected because he was anti-Republican, but because he like Clinton had the support of the corrupt Repub/Demo Party. The is not a hell of a lot of difference between them.

The man just keeps breaking records: he hit 50 percent unpopularity in the Gallup Poll 8 days into his presidency. Clinton had a famously terrible first few months, and he wasn't at 50 percent until early summer 1993.

Any other North American countries been hit by terrorist attacks from Syrian or recently arrived refugees? Can you show that bringing in Syrian refugees has led to increased terrorist activity? Any real facts to base this ban on or just fear? And we all know that all we have to fear is...

All the terrorist attacks have been by Sunni radicals. Iran is Shia! They support Assad not Daesh. Al-Qaeda in Iran is more likely than not a propaganda device of the West.

Same as saying Sadam Hussein supported Sunni radicals terrorists. He would have shot them in the blink of an eye. After he was removed by GWB it opened the door to Daesh.

Saudi Arabia is the exporter of radical Sunni Wahhabis ideals. They also export a lot of oil and buy lots of guns.

There is always a chance republican Iran will fall to Shia moderates. Not much chance autocratic monarchy Saudi Arabia will fall to moderates.

Yemen is the last stronghold of Shias in the Arabian peninsula. They take pot shots at US warships just to make a point as the West is Saudi Arabia's biggest arms supplier.

Somalia was a failed state long before radical Islam came to the area.

Libya armed more Marxist terrorists than radical Islamists. IRA probably would have not been as effective without Libyan training camps. Conditions there are purely the result of Western intervention.

Tin pot fascists leaders don't want radical religious terrorists in their country.

Sudan is racked more by internal conflict with the Islamic Arabic north and the black animist south.

The Boston bombers were not from countries on the list. Chechnya has exported many a radical Islamist. Don't see Russian Muslims on the list.
