Trump burns the Trump Presidency to the ground

continuing to practice social distancing from Democrats.

Yes, by all means. And do mingle closely among yourselves. Just can't get the point of social distancing, can you? The vile clown you worship can't either, so you're in the right company.

Preliminary numbers suggest middle-aged and working-age adults in Georgia and Louisiana are much more likely to die than the same age group elsewhere, and the reasons are complicated.

A recent analysis from the Kaiser Family Foundation found that adults under 60 in Arkansas, Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, Louisiana and Mississippi were much more likely to fall into a high-risk category — such as heart disease, cancer, lung disease or diabetes.

That age group made up about a quarter of their states’ vulnerable population, compared to just 19 percent in Washington State.

Those risk factors are the result of policies that have perpetuated the racism and poverty of the Jim Crow era, and the South remains the poorest region in the U.S.

Poor whites, as well as black people, Latinos and rural residents, lack access to high-quality health care and grocery stores with healthy food.

Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina and Texas spent just $25 per person last year on public health, compared to New York — which has been overwhelmed by the pandemic — and nine of the 14 states that refused to expand Medicaid to poor residents under the Affordable Care Act are in the former Confederacy.

Republican governors some of those states have followed President Donald Trump’s lead and refused to issue stay-at-home orders until the virus had been widely spread, and the results of their policies are about to be seen.

The next death wave from COVID-19 will be the poor, rural and white

And, over the past 40 years, Reaganism has encouraged the spread of deep white poverty from red state to red state. White obesity, diabetes and hypertension are, therefore, overrepresented in poor rural areas as far away as Nebraska and Mississippi.

In fact, the Brookings Institution just reported that of the counties where the virus has most recently exploded, 151 of them went for Trump in 2016 (by an average of 12 percent) and only 25 backed Clinton.

Today, Trump, Fox and his followers think COVID-19 just kills the elderly, blacks and Hispanics—and they seem comfortable with the needless deaths of people they think are different from themselves.

As it spreads into rural white America, however, they’re about to learn otherwise.

Democrats are praying(well not "praying", 'cause their not really God people) for wide-spread death from CoVid, so they can blame President Trump. Pure pathos.

No they aren't. you really are an owned dummy, aren't you? Or is this just provocative performance art from under the bridge? You Trumpettes are disgusting subhumans.

Trump’s hostile takeover of the Republican Party is going to lead to a 2020 election wipeout

Matt Lewis took a look at the most recent presidential and Senate election polling and predicted that Donald Trump is leading the GOP to a November wipeout that will see them lose the Senate and the White House.

With a Fox News poll coming out this week showing the president trailing presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden badly, Lewis said things likely won’t get better for Trump and that could lead to the collapse of the entire party.

Posing the question, “A Democratic wave is slowly gaining energy. Could a Republican wipe-out ensue?” Lewis added, “Consider this: Donald Trump is getting trounced by 11 points in the recent Quinnipiac poll. That one may be an outlier, but Biden is also up by 8 in the latest Fox News poll. More importantly, he continues to expand the electoral map, consistently besting Trump in Arizona, a state that wasn’t considered vital to his path to victory. He’s also winning in Florida and (albeit narrowly) Georgia (!).”

Unfortunately, you never can tell. And assumptions didn't work out too well the last time.

Princeton University Professor Eddie Glaude said the fall-out from the coronavirus pandemic that claimed nearly 100,000 lives in the U.S. and sent the country into an economic tailspin has exposed the “death rattle” of the type of America Donald Trump has made.

“Well, you remember Dr. Fauci a few months ago telling us if we did everything right we could see between 100,000 and 240,000 dead and here we are on the precipice of 100,000 souls gone, and we are opening up our economy. What we see, I think, is that a kind of greed and selfishness is already determining how we move in this country, and we also see, I think, that for Donald Trump there are folks who are disposable, folks whose lives don’t really come into view.”

“He lacks a sense of sympathy and empathy for those who are not in his immediate purview,” he added. “I think at end of the day, and I should say this with a little caution it might sound a bit hyperbolic, I think we’re witnessing the death rattle of a particular version of America, and Donald Trump represents in a very stark way all that is wrong with us and we need to understand that for what it is.”

In some ways Andrew Cuomo has become America’s de facto president as Trump has abandoned his responsibilities when it comes to America’s National Security and saving American lives. Cuomo is doing a lot of the important work that Trump should be doing

Trump has shown gross incompetence and gross negligence. And as Trump has shamelessly neglected his responsibilities, governors such as Andrew Cuomo, Gretchen Whitmer and Gavin Newsom have been taking up the slack.

The American People have seen more leadership from these governors than we could ever hope to see from Trump! As president, Trump is supposed to be in charge of America's National Security, but Trump is out there GOLFING[/]b] and TWEETING and WATCHING SEAN HANNITY while governors like Cuomo, Whitmer and Newsom are saving American lives!!!

Republicans are shooting themselves in the foot by alienating the young and the old alike

Trump’s handling of the coronavirus has cost him significantly with important voting blocks. He's lost a lot of ground with suburban voters and and senior citizens.

Trump NEEDS the suburban vote and the senior citizen vote if he wants to get re-elected! He's always done poorly with young voters, female voters, Latino voters, college educated voters, urban voters and African American voters.

If he loses the suburban voters and the senior citizens, he's basically got nothing left!

When 4 people died in Benghazi, the Republicans spent millions of dollars investigating Hillary Clinton and had about a dozen highly publicized investigations where they attempted to find any shred of evidence that might prove Clinton was somehow guilty of negligence or incompetence or some sort of irresponsible behavior so they could blame her for those 4 deaths.

But now that more than 100,000 have died in the United States of America, the Republicans are all like, "Trump has done a great job!" and have no plans to investigate Trump's dangerously irresponsible behavior and failure to lead during the pandemic.

Republicans worry that Trump is going to deliver Biden a landslide victory

The Trump administration has failed to deliver on a single substantive promise made to independent and swing voters in states like Pennsylvania and Michigan. What remains is the unspinnable truth that self-proclaimed genius Donald Trump has lost control of the country Americans trusted him to govern.

With 30 million Americans out of work, Trump’s plan to claim victory over unemployment now looks like a joke. Even worse, his administration has been caught completely unprepared for serious economic disruptions they were warned about months in advance.

As it turns out, many Americans — especially older people more likely to fall into the Covid-19 increased risk profile — aren’t thrilled about their president putting the economy ahead of their lives. In 2016, Trump won voters aged 65 and over by an impressive 8 points. Today, those senior citizens now support Joe Biden by a stunning 17-point margin.

Let’s be clear: If Donald Trump heads into November losing senior citizens by 17 points and independents by up to 13 points, he faces a defeat of landslide proportions. In that scenario, he is likely to lose not only Michigan and Pennsylvania, but North Carolina, Arizona and Ohio as well.

Trump is criminally deranged, out of control, and fomenting violence. Of course whoever runs against him--if someone doesn't pop him off first--deserves to win in a landslide. And the Republicans, who have done absolutely nothing helpful or effective about it, can just lump it.

Wash hands frequently, especially when around any Democrats.

Better yet, it's best that you avoid us entirely.
In fact, I think you ought to really show us who's boss and have no contact with us whatsoever. But like it or not, there will be a lot of Democrats out and about on Election Day. Don't be fooled into letting us make you sick! Stay home on Tuesday, and vote on Wednesday. That'll show us!

Trump has been trying his hardest to ferment a civil war in the US has he just may have succeed with the "George Floyd" death. All across our Nation protesters to police brutality are taking to the streets. The daytime protests are peaceful but the nighttime protests are turning nasty. Businesses, buildings, and cars are being burned. Stores are being looted and now we have a business owner who has been killed defending his business. In the meantime Trump has suggested his MAGA supporters should counter protest.

Well, thank God we don't have any posters as crazy and treasonous as Trump on the board . . . no, wait . . . :D

I know I'll show up covered in liberal cooties.

Trump has abdicated his office

He is not governing. He’s golfing, watching cable TV and tweeting.

How has Trump responded to the widespread unrest following the murder in Minneapolis of George Floyd, a black man who died after a white police officer knelt on his neck for minutes as he was handcuffed on the ground?

Trump called the protesters “thugs” and threatened to have them shot. “When the looting starts, the shooting starts,” he tweeted, parroting a former Miami police chief whose words spurred race riots in the late 1960's

Since claiming Covid-19 was a “Democratic hoax” and muzzling public health officials, he has punted management of the coronavirus to the states.

Governors have had to find ventilators to keep patients alive and protective equipment for hospital and other essential workers who lack it, often bidding against each other. They have had to decide how, when and where to reopen their economies.

Trump has claimed “no responsibility at all” for testing and contact-tracing – the keys to containing the virus. His new “plan” places responsibility on states to do their own testing and contact-tracing.

Trump is also AWOL in the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression.

More than 41 million Americans are jobless. In the coming weeks temporary eviction moratoriums are set to end in half of the states. One-fifth of Americans missed rent payments this month. Extra unemployment benefits are set to expire at the end of July.

What is Trump’s response? Like Herbert Hoover, who in 1930 said “the worst is behind us” as thousands starved, Trump says the economy will improve and does nothing about the growing hardship. The Democratic-led House passed a $3 trillion relief package on May 15th. Mitch McConnell has recessed the Senate without taking action and Trump calls the bill dead on arrival.

It’s hard to imagine anyone more ill-equipped than Trump to handle America's current state of unrest. Ill-equipped may not even be the right term to use. He is completely unequipped to deal with the outpouring of anger being expressed on the streets of our cities. He is incapable of listening to anyone besides himself. He cannot sympathize. He cannot empathize. He cannot lead, he doesn’t want to.

Instead, he resorts to his default position, which is performative shows of strength. He tweets about dominating protesters while hiding in a bunker that still reeks of Dick Cheney’s aftershave. He tear gases peaceful protests so he can walk a few blocks for a photo op with an upside-down bible at a church he’s never been in. He hasn’t worked an honest day in his life, but masks are for wussies and he’s gonna look directly at that solar eclipse because he’s super tough and totally not overcompensating for anything!

There’s still a reflexive action that happens when a tragedy grips the country. We expect the president to address the nation and offer words of hope. We still expect the levers of government to click into place and at least attempt to provide aid. That hasn’t happened with COVID-19 or the unrest from the killing of George Floyd and that’s because we don’t really have a president.

Since moving into the Oval Office in January 2017, Trump hasn’t shown an ounce of interest in governing. He obsesses only about himself.

GOP lawmakers plotting escape from Trump over possibility he’ll lose election in a landslide

In a column for the Daily Beast, conservative commentator Matt Lewis said there are indications that more than a few GOP lawmakers will turn their backs on Donald Trump as it becomes clearer that he will go down in a major defeat in November.

According to Lewis, who abandoned the Republican Party specifically because it became the party of Trump, the president is stumbling into the November election and running scared.

“Donald Trump is scared,” he began. “He has beaten, dominated, and bludgeoned the Republican Party into positions that would make a drunken riot cop blush with shame. But now that Trump may lose in a landslide, his captives and quislings are plotting their escape.”

As Lewis notes, the tipping point for conservatives and Republicans to seriously consider turning on the president was brought about by comments made by retired General James Mattis in the past week.

According to the columnist, the confluence of Trump's botched coronavirus pandemic response, the accompanying economic collapse, and the president’s antagonistic attacks on anti-police brutality protesters has become too much for some of his most avid defenders to bear.

“Trump’s old tactics, once so reliable, are starting to fail him, utterly,” she wrote. “It was a winning strategy to crow about a border wall with Mexico, but it’s a loser — and a sign of pure cowardice — to build one around your own White House. He once basked in the reflected glow of ‘his generals’; now those generals are laying waste to him, with James Mattis, his former defense secretary, explicitly condemning Trump’s immature and divisive leadership, and John Kelly, the president’s former chief of staff, saying yep, sounds about right.“

“Maybe there was a time when religious conservatives would have applauded a photo of Trump standing in front of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Bible in hand. But using pepper balls and flash-bang grenades to clear anguished protesters out of the way backfired. The Episcopal bishop of Washington reacted in horror; Trump’s support among white Catholics slipped 11 points between April and May,” she continued. “Maybe there was a time when stigmatizing all progressive protesters as invading marauders would have worked — bigotry, it gets the job done — but not now. His proposal to suppress the tumult with the military was greeted with disapproval by his current secretary of defense, Mark Esper, and disgust by Mattis; the Black Lives Matter movement now polls at an all-time high, with 66 percent of Americans disapproving of how Trump has handled the response to George Floyd’s death.”

According to the columnist, the embattled Trump is now “flailing like an overturned turtle.”
