Demographically, religious-right social conservatism doesn't stand a chance -- Millennials and GenZ have no use for it, nor for racism or xenophobia.

Trump has real contempt for the country, appoints wholly unqualified people to key positions and just kicked 12 million people off Medicaid, eliminated child food support and killed worldwide healthcare efforts monitoring pandemic producing diseases including Ebola (among countless other dangerous things).

It’s a sad state of affairs watching Lit’s intellectual misfits praying for Trump to fail. Sooo American of you. If Trump fails then we fail as a nation. The difference between conservatives and Democrats is when conservatives complained about Biden it was reactionary, a response to failed policies. When democrats complain it’s hoping and praying he fails.

Criticisms of Trump are based on his failed policies. Here are a few that draw criticism:
  • TrumpTariffs — largest tax increase since the 1960; started trade wars with our allies
  • Zero stock market growth for 5 months — the market reaction to TrumpTariffs
  • Deployed active military to an American city
  • Fired everyone in the federal government who was hired or changed jobs in the last two years — maximum turmoil for minimal fiscal impact
  • Eliminated foreign aid — cruelty is the point
  • Harassed foreign tourists trying to enter the US — detained for weeks and eventually denied entry for no reason except meeting deportation quotas
  • Changed the status of foreign students who were in the US legally so they could be deported — simply to increase deportation numbers and meet quotas
  • Took bribes from corporations in exchange for favors — CBS is a recent example, they paid Trump millions so their merger with Skydance will be approved
  • Cut Medicaid and SNAP to offset a bit of the cost of extending tax cuts for billionaires
  • Added $4 trillion to the projected deficits and the national debt
That’s off the top of my head. I’m sure there are dozens more.
 
well, he's betraying everyone that voted for him time and time again, sabotaging the GOP, betraying Ukraine, adding trillions to the national debt, kicking off s recession which will take us into a depression and now he's folded on the Epstein files. The backlash is only starting......
