PS - Brown Chinese - I grew up with Haitians. After a hurricane, they rounded up stray pets that white people abandoned as they fled. They did voodoo stuff and drained their blood in supermarket parking lots late at night. Cops found the stuff and it was in local papers. They did not eat the animals but that was mainly because they were all on welfare and food stamps and skinning animals is not easy.

Folks talk a lot about the Stock market but the largely ignored economic news this week was that the market proved surprisingly reluctant to take up the latest tranche of US government Bonds. Trump has already degraded the USA from AAA status and if the Bond market tanks, Trump can forget about extending tax cuts for the wealthy, there will not be enough money to subsidize businesses screwed by his tariff mania. Expenditure is too high, DOGE having achieved miniscule differences. The economy has the capacity to make him a lame duck well before the mid terms. It will go bad by mid-summer.
