*streaking through, wishing everyone an absolutely fabulous FRIDAY!!!!!!*

Whew, now that I got that out, I must confess........

Dreamy completely surprised me this morning. Thank you.

Confession: I recently had a conversation with someone who touched on a side of me that I have never really explored. Submitting to the instructions given to me was a very erotic experience, and made me feel very sexy. I get excited just thinking about it...

Batch,
I just meant we will be here for you, to listen if you need someone to talk to, wether looking for advice or just to rant to let out frustrations.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. Ours is going to be busy. We are headed to the horse races, the zoo and to see the little river band in concert.

Ya'll have a great time, Oman and Jenny!!!

Happy Friday my friends!! WOOOO HOOO! I am so happy its Friday! I switched my work schedule this week so that I would go in and then get home a half hour early to be with my Nigel before his rehearsals and the early hours are kicking my ass!

Oman and Jenny, I hope you two have a wonderful weekend!

Babydoll -- soo wonderful to see you and you answered my questions in response to your PM. I didn't catch up with the posts until after I had written it. Im so happy that things are going better now. :rose:

Winter-- Nigel will get a kick out of those scientology jokes..whenever that particular sect is spoken of, he shares his very strong opinion.

Dreamy. thank you for your earlier post...its such a touching reminder! And it always reinforces things for me.

EL -- I hope you are enjoying your break from home for a bit.

Batch, I hope things feel a bit brighter for you today. Sounds like it has been a rough, rough year.

Philosophical thoughts for an early Saturday morning...

3. I work hard because millions on welfare depend on me.

8. Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.

9. Earth is the insane asylum for the universe.

10. Quoting one is plagiarism; quoting many is research.

11. I'm not a complete idiot -- some parts are missing.

12. Out of my mind. Back in five minutes.

13. NyQuil, the stuffy, sneezy, why-the-heck-is-the-room-spinning medicine.

14. God must love stupid people; he made so many.

15. The gene pool could use a little chlorine.

16. It IS as BAD as you think and they ARE out to get you.

33. The trouble with life is there's no background music.

This isn't really a confession so much as me rambling. It's been so long since I've really done this here. Please induldge me...

So last night I went to the ER - but not for me. My son had croop, which seems like such a minor thing. I keep thinking that the whole ordeal could have been avoided. He had been coughing a little bit during the day, but nothing major. I assumed it was some sort of reaction to pollen or something similar. We put him to bed last night just like any other, thinking he was fine. He coughed a little and we ignored it. He was fine. Then around 2:00am he started coughing uncontrolably and crying. When we got to him he was fighting to breathe and begging for water. My insticts told me to get him outside (even though it's April it was a little chilly last night) or get him in the shower, anything to help him. But by that time he was so worked up he couldn't relax which made his breathing worse. So we raced off to the hospital.

As some of you may remember my husband has a tendancy to panic in even the most benign situations so I had to remain calm and level headed. The whole time part of me was thinking "he's fine. He will be ok," but a whole other part was crying "god not my sweet baby."

I've been planning for weeks to make a late night dash to the hospital, but for ME not my son.

He seems to be fine now. They gave him a breathing treatment and a steriod shot to open the passage way in his throat. They took some x-rays. They sent us home with the caveot that he could have a relapse (it was our choice to go home). I slept with him in his bed, listening to him breathe. He did begin to cough and weeze a little, but nothing like earlier. He is in good spirits and acts like nothing happened last night. Mommy and Daddy are nervous wrecks however.

:rose: (((((redelicious)))))) :rose:

That sounds like a terrifying evening frankly. My thoughts go out to your family and it's health.

{{{{{{{{{{{{Red}}}}}}}}}}}}}} Darling you and TD and even your husband are in my thoughts and prayers!!! :rose:

((((((((Red))))))))) What an awful, scary ordeal! Im glad he is better today and continues to do well. Please take care of yourself, too.

On a completely different and meaningless note as compared to the ordeal Red just when through....2 hour countdown til Kill Bill 2. :D :D Hee hee! Isn't it a little sad that I get this excited over seeing a movie?!?!?!

I hope you guys are having a bee-you-ti-ful weekend!

{{{{{Red}}}}} glad to hear your son is doing better.

NG, just think, the reason you can get so excited about a small thing such as going to see a movie, is because you have already been blessed with the big stuff, like Nigel, your job, and your move. Enjoy the show!

RED,
glad your son is doing better.
Ill keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

NG,
enjoy your movie
just wish it was
Kill MY Bills

Hi

Thank you everyone for your thoughts. We just put our son to bed for the night, window open, humidifier running, extra pillow on his bed, and cough medicine in his bloodstream. He is still coughing some but seems so much better. Luckily he took a nice, long nap earlier so I was able to get some rest too.

Have fun at the movie NG. :)

He's still at it. In fact, thanks to some *ahem* well meaning relatives he has also added recorder, keyboard and drum to his repetiore. He's a renaissance toddler. ;)
