A man lost both of his arms in a car accident. When he recovered in the hospital, he felt useless and decided to commit suicide by jumping out of a 10th-story window. As he looked down from the window, he saw another man with no arms dancing wildly and happily on the street. He decided to find out what made this man so happy. Arriving on the street, he asked, "Hey, brother, stop dancing for a minute and tell what it is that makes you so happy."

The dancing man responded, "What do you mean, happy? I'm not happy! My ass itches like hell, but there is nothing I can to to scratch it!"

I have been taking a little puter vacation and writting alot of journal pages. kiki there is an organization that deals with employement issues in each state, its the EEOC equal employment oportunity organization. They handle both hiring and firing situations and they may be able to assist you in getting made whole from the the unfair dismisal. In regard to sexual harassment I believe that there are deffinate steps that must be followed and one of them is a hearing and in some cases warnings being issued. In a state of employment at will, an employer can fire but not on grounds of sexual harasement without due process. There needs to be "just cause" for an employee to be released due to sexual harassment. Kiki was there an employment manual that details policy in regard to discharge? If there is one it may state that employees may only be discharged for just cause if that is the case then the company must submit proof of evidence as to the cause. The manual is regarded as an implied contract and both parties are bound to conditions within the manual. There exists a good faith agreement that many state courts will uphold that arbitary firings are unlawful. Just thought I would let you know what I learned in business law a few years back. I was lucky that I belonged to a union when I was last fired and won a years back pay for being fired for prolonged illness. I won in a federal arbitration court. Let me know if it helps. The EEOC should be in your phone book.
