I confess that I really can't wrap my head around the fact that I have 2 grown sons. Oldest turned 21 last week... yikes! 2nd oldest is far away in Illinois at college... but thankfully he'll be home a week from Sunday for about 6 weeks.
A couple weeks ago I got some EXTREMELY good news and life has become so much easier in the meantime. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I can breathe again for the first time in a very, very long time.
I agree with SS, it's good to see new and old friends dropping in and clearing out the cobwebs just a bit. But I think what this place needs is an old-fashioned TC party. That would liven things up just a bit.

Nope, just busy. One of those "more work than I can handle, but not enough to justify hiring an assistant" kinda things. And it is season in these parts so lots of social events on the calender. How are things with you?

Gallery openings, art shows, a fashion show or two, last Saturday it was the Mad Hatter's tea party at the yacht club. And now that the Christmas season is underway, holiday parties and boat parades are on the list. As a rule I don't attend more than a couple of events, but this year I am attending anything that will let me get my business card into someone's hand. Here on the edge of nowhere, it's not what you know, but who you know that generates business.
