well, I confess...I'm starting to wonder if my policy of scorched earth when it comes to failed relationships might be a bad thing...and I'm not just talking about girlfriends/women, I'm talking about supposed friends as well. I look back sometimes and all I see is desolation and despair. I try to tell myself they brought it on all on their own, but lately it doesn't help.

I don't have the scorched earth policy Matt, but I relate to you. Finding someone who thrills you intellectually, and perhaps physically and they push you away. If I crash and burn once more, there's nothing left to burn up. All that will be left is ash, total ash, and nothing left to build up again.

I have been doing well. The business is slowly building, RL is moving along with only a few ripples here and there. The 4th was spent as I remember as a kid - family cookout and then a short stroll to see the fireworks. I had forgotten how neat small town America can be. How was yours?

I was very happy to read you had gotten off the pain meds! You have been missed around here, old friend.

That is true, at least for me.

DAmned, Sorry I missed this sweets.. I havent been online since posting it..

Just couldnt go to the rest of the meetings.. I read the book.... Its AA for sexual perverts.....12 steps.. I am SO NOT that person... I just got tired of feeling dead inside...FOUND some VERY EXCITING and SEXY and PROVOCATIVE ladies on LIT...... Shared some glorious moments with them and think of them often while smiling still today... >)

I want the physical and mental touch.. if it isnt her.. it WILL be someone else.. Just tired of waiting for her to decide that she wants me..

Told her last week.. she needs to come get her stuff out of the house.. I was moving in to M & D's Tired of living alone and somehow life is supposed to be enjoyable.

GUESS WHAT!!!.. now she has agreed to make time 1 evening and 1 weekend day a week to spend together to talk about our problems.. Spent 4.5 hrs last night and 4 hrs today talking.. not arguing.. not fighting but it actually felt like communication..

Not sure why she had to have an ultimatum to get off the dime... not sure it will make a difference in the end.. but I do enjoy the good times with her.. She is a genuinely good and giving person (apparently to everyone else but me, though) almost to a fault of having no time or energy left for us.


Glad to see SS posting again
and NG...(personally amazed she has time as a newlywed to be online)... less she be wearing Nigel out..

Gotta go for now.. be back sooner than later...

*sigh*... TC..a flood of memories for me today. So Hello out there, if anyone is still visiting.

I recently met a girl with whom I instantly connected... so many similarities in our lives. I knew she was from Nebraska, but today, she told me the town and I was blown away...talk about a flood of memories..that is what brought me around these parts. I have a group of friends out there. They want me to visit. I said too many painful memories out there. Still, they want me to visit and make new happy ones. I might some day. I cannot believe that this newish friend, who is more like a lost sister, is from there...

To touch and be touched is a basic need for life - babies will fail to thrive on just about every level without touch and it isn't something we out grow.

A few hours together a week is a great start! Remember to stand your ground for what is important to you - no woman likes a doormat no matter how bossy she appears to be.
