naded said:Hi, this is Jay's roommate Mike and I wanted to tell you what is happening.
He is undergoing surgery on his right leg as we speak and they are going to try and drain some fluid from his spine that is starting to swell. We are very concern about him and hope you all will send him prayers. Even though he hates that.
Jay did a bit more damage to himself then was originally believed but some things aren't as bad as they first thought now that x-rays and a Catscan have been done.
I'll see if I can say this right, hope you understand.
Jay has in fact ruptured a an artery in his right knee where he was injured in the Army, it's not as bad as they thought but they believe it is small. Jay lost conciousness shortly after leaving the house, kicking and screaming like always. He was taken immediately into the ER and thank god we only live a few miles from the Hospital.
His neck is apparently not sprained but just torqued pretty good, that should be fine. The doctors are concerned about some bruising around his kidneys and a irregular heart beat that has surfaced.
These are the major problems he is facing right now, the rest are alot more minor and not as bad as they originally though at the airfield. We are all very concerned for him and waiting for more word from the doctors. And I will sign on under his account or try to figure out how to get my own. Kinda lost here.
If you like to send a note or get well card you can send it here to the house and I will takeit to him as Kari and I will be seeing him everyday. I will stay here for a few minutes and answer any questions you might have if you like.
Mike.
naded said:I will pass it along to him Shiningeyes. I will give out an addy if you like or you can just email him and we will print it for him then take it to the hospital.

Think I've caught the jist. I certainly wish the best for Naded - I hardly know him, but hate to see suffering. I hope that all well turn out well.
Try not to worry, all. My experience is that worry is counterproductive. Try to relax and pool your energy. That seems to work best. Try not to fear the unknown - most eventually becomes known.
Things like this are the constant reminders that today is a gift, and most of us merely take it for granted. Today is meant to be lived.
I think Naded would want us to think of him while we have as pleasant a time as possible. I know that I would. Were it I, I would say, "Go have fun - I'll be fine."
Bless you all for your care - does me old heart good.
