Holy strange phenomenon Batman it's been three days and the room is empty. What is going on? Have I been gone too long?

Glad to see we're all really "here" (or "there"), even if we don't post as often as in the past! Hope y'all had a nice holiday weekend, and that everyone's spring is a bright one! :rose:
  • Discovering that living "in the moment" is much harder than I had expected. Trying to follow the examples of our kitties who take life one second at a time. :cathappy: :cattail:
  • Feeling a little gloomy, missing seeing my friends and "some" of my family! Thank goodness for telephones and computers. :heart:
  • Appreciating and loving Oman more each day. It scares me that we met so unexpectedly; couldn't imagine my days and nights without him. :heart: :kiss:
  • Wishing I were further along with things, but at least I realize how far I have come. (It's a workout trying to stay positive!) :eek:
 
I'll take that as full fledged "no", then?

Guess all my old friends around here haved moved on, so I'll do the same.

Glad to see there are still old friends showing up. I hope things are going well for you all.

For SuperShyGuy I must report my disappointment that the Red Wings got knocked out first thing. I'm always excited when the old pre-expansion teams are in the play-offs.

Hope to see you all more often. Inlust, are you having trouble getting on line or did I not understand your post? If you are I hope you get it fixed so I can see you here. I confess, you still drive my fantasy world.

Jenny and Ohmahaman still keep the place bright and SecretScribe I sure hope you are doing well. Last I was here you were still having pain. How are you?

I should make a lengthy list of naughty things I have been doing with twin redheads in public places to explain my lengthy absence but alas it would be a fabrication.

time for another of lorri's naughty true confessions i think, seeing as how i was a naughty girl again last week :devil: :p

my hubby and me had a friend to stay last wednesday evening and night and i was naughty with our friend :devil: ;) paul my hubby didn't mind though, he suggested it and joined in... both guys slept in the bed with me all night, well there wasn't much sleeping going on :p :D i was wacked out thursday morning and didn't bother going in to work, randy pair of buggers :D that was the first time i've slept the night with two guys in ages, it was lovely... we do crazy things like that occasionally paul and me, it cements our bond strange though it might seem... we go through weeks of silly mushy emotional loving for each other after doing something like that.

  • So happy the NJ Devils got slammed today!! Hope they get swept by the 'Canes! (ok... not likely to happen, but I'm still bitter!) :cool:
  • Wish I felt well enough to go gambling today; I hear the slots calling me, but it might be fun to actually save some extra money this month instead of spending it right away. :rolleyes:
  • I'm in love with Oman! (no surpise there!) :D
  • Getting tired of seeing doctors, dentists and taking meds. Makes me feel older than I want to feel! :eek:

Hey there stranger :kiss: RL is crazy right now. A family emergency has me away from home for extended periods and the place I'm at hasn't any connectivity at all. I think I may have figured out how to at least get internet (the area isn't serviced by comcast or Time warner :confused: ) Keep your fingers crossed........

You have been sorely missed! Hope the absence was pleasure related :p
 
Confessions:

- Following posts on the Playground regarding a tragic loss has me really feeling how abrupt and fleeting life can be. :rose:

- My mom had a recent scare with breast cancer. Thankfully, everything is fine. In the course of processing everything, she somehow found the strength and resolve to remove a very toxic person from her life. I am very proud of her. I guess everything does happen for a reason, whether we recognize it or not.

- I have been hiding for a long time now, from most everyone including myself. I don't want to, but I don't know how to stop either.

- I really miss what this place used to be.

I hope you all are well, and that many of you still 'lurk' around and can know that I am thinking of you.
