Liza!!!!

NG!!
glad you enjoyed the show!!! Your post reminds me of the day they were filming an episode outside jenny's Manhattan apt and i was getting an account of what was going on over the phone. It was kind of funny when she said something
romantic and suddenly had a spotlight shinning down on her window!!

KK,
we will take as many of your posts as we can!!

Everyone else
Where are you?????????

Honeymooner checking in!!!

Every day should be a honeymoon day. This has been so awesome, nothing but romantic kisses, long eye-locking gazes in love, and amazement that we are really married!!!

We arrived in Charleston, SC last night, and are staying in the historic district. We are about to venture out to explore the city, maybe take in a tour and grab some nurishment. Wow! Honeymooning takes it out of you!

Oman, I found the wedding thread! That so made my day, and I posted back.

We bought a new camera yesterday, so as soon as we figure out all the bells and whistles on it we will try to take some pictures and post a couple. I think I even have a few of Fiesty at the Spa! muahahaha

I just want to say, there are no words to express how much it means to us to have you all in our lives.

Had a rough go of it lately with a new round of appts with eye specialists...

Yep....changes from the disease. They can't give a timeframe, but eventually I will need new corneas. Sheesh

This whole thing has me completely out of sorts. A friend of mine said he missed having the old Jeff around.

I miss him too.

* Accept that some days you're the pigeon, and some days you're the statue.

* Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them.

* Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.

* Drive carefully. It's not only cars that can be recalled by their maker.

* If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.

* If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

* It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

* Never put both feet in your mouth at the same time, because then you won't have a leg to stand on.

* Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance.

* Since it's the early worm that gets eaten by the bird, sleep late.

* The second mouse gets the cheese.

* When everything's coming your way, you're in the wrong lane.

* Birthdays are good for you. The more you have, the longer you live.

* You may be only one person in the world, but you may also be the world to one person.

* We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull . Some have weird names , and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.

* A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

here goes.

I secretly want my fuck my gf while she gives someone a bj, Im pretty sure she would luv it.

I wank almost every day

I think I want an e-mail affair, only e-mail though, strange.

I am horny all the time

I want my gf to finger my ass

I want to attend an orgy with my gf, (see confession no.1)

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a little better; whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is the meaning of success." -Ralph Waldo Emerson

JEFF you will be in my thoughts and prayers! May the force be with you!

Newlyweds,
as you tour

Ok,, just a thought as I posted my last one..

How many self employed business people are on here.. and would you consider utilizing their business if you were in the need of that type of work???? Or would you be too afraid of conjoining R/L and Lit?

Did anyone see The West Wing last night?? Ahhh, to live in a world where "Matt Santos" is president...

I wish the current government was half as smart as the writers of The West Wing appear to be.

I spend my life observing politics and it gets pretty depressing. The West Wing (particularly the first four seasons.. come back Sorkin!) is what I watch when I want to think that it doesn't have to be so shitty all the time.

And I'm not even American :)

Dream ... you can be any place you want to be in line ...

Now ... before anyone gets their panties / briefs in a knot, here is the way it works ...

I give backrubs (leg rubs, whatever) and I'm good at it (just ask NG if you need confirmation). First come, first served ... With the following exceptions!
  • Sortacurious and/or Dansretreat -> wedding pressent
  • Jewelz -> She started this threaded and I still owe ... I always will
  • Dream of Sun -> because ... just because ...
  • NG -> because ... I owe her those massages

One more week til Thanksgiving....

Ten days... will be the 2nd anniversary of my brother's death... *sigh*

I'm so glad I don't have to work next week.... now if only my two close friend's tests come back negative of cancer, things will be ok.... say an extra prayer for them, please!!

Bre has been my best friend since 3rd grade!! I've been helping her deal with cancer for over a year now... back the first of the year, right after she'd finished 10 months of chemo and radiation, her father died... she's all that her mom has left unless her bro comes back from CA... he's a Doctor... now after having a liver biopsy a couple weeks ago, she's now gonna have a laproscopic biopsy! They're just not sure.....

Lisa and I have been friends for a good 10 yrs now.... she just found a lump and will have her biopsy done around 9am Monday... *sigh*

Both are my age, the latter having two daughters...

Wishing a wonderful week to the whole TC family....

~from the lost sissy...

Confessions of a confessed confessor

One of these days I really need to sit down and air things out. This last year has managed to twist my psyche (and reality) into more than one knot of a Gordian nature. To wit ... I really need a major confession one of these days ... you know ... one of those that sends half the listeners slinking out the side exits simply because it's "TMI" ... and the other half find themselves unable leave because of the perverse nature of "there but for the grace of God go I" ... and because they realize that once they recover from the sheer sadness and wierdness of it all ... it's going to be hilariously funny ... (since it happened to someone else).

Well that day is not today. I only need to unloose a minor cascade of idiocy.

I confess that this weekend my wife and I gave up on trying to be productive and resolved to say "the hell with it" and just lay back and enjoy ourselves ... and by damn if we didn't! The funny thing is that along the way ... we also managed to have the most productive weekend we've had in 3 months!

Did I mention the weirdness that tends to incorporate itself into my confessionals??

Well there we were, in Wal-Mart (don't ask how we managed to find ourselves in the heart of the commercial anti-christ ... I'm still wondering ...) and in our happy go lucky mood, we decide that the pantry is in dire need of being organized ... and in truth it really IS in need of said organization (something we have agonized over, ineffectually, when we have been in serious moods and/or were searching through the pantry for some item of culinary interest that was needed exactly right then (and not being found).

Long story short, amazed and indeed entranced by the variety (and sheer utility) of the items displayed ... we scarf up a huge quantity of these labor saving devices, utensils and etc.

The above, all by itself, is worthy of a confession (indeed a dark and dire one) ... however the story has not yet concluded.

This evening ... or rather this morning, in a continuing fit of productivity (I'd already thoroughly cleaned the kitchen and scoured the oven) ... my eye falls on the fruit of our shopping frenzy earlier. The pantry is not safe. In a twinkling of the eye, half of the pantry contents is arrayed on the newly cleaned counters; packages, half-empty bags and varoius what-nots from the deepest and darkest corners of the pantry, ... all are now seeing the light of day (ok ... the glow of midnight lights), in some cases for the first time in months ...

... and here is where the story takes a darker turn ...

Every thanksgiving I make a dish called Praline Squash. Ingredients are butternut squash, butter, brown sugar, and chopped pecan pieces. That's it. ... and every day or so before thanksgiving, out we run to get the squash and the pecans.

Well the truth is it doesn't take a full bag of pecan pieces to make the dish. That's part one. Part two is that I almost never find last years leftover pecan pieces. Part three is ... well ... ... I cleaned the pantry ...

Bag #1: "Best if used by May 11, 2005"
Bag #2: "Best if used by May 19, 2003"
Bag #3: "Best if used by June 08, 2002"
... Bag #4: "Best if used by May 17, 1997"

Bags 5 through 8 ... did not list a "best is used by" date ... in fact bag #8 was barely readable ...
