Woohoo! Floating in on a bridal cloud, doing the happy dance!

I am happy for both you and Danny! :rose: When is the big date again?

You are only a drive across the state, you know!

More update

Since I've had a bit of sleep...

Hopping back into the swing of things has been a bigger chore than I anticipated. Exhaustion is a new constant. Three shifts feel like five and forget about getting called in. Let us not forget strarting a new med every two weeks or so in order to try to find something that works. Not to mention the lovely side effects of drowsiness or feeling wired (or weird), alternatively. And the best part....I get to see a doc about every three weeks, and not because they are wandering through the unit.

I am holding up okay.

Hope you get to feeling better, jeff
Sorta, wish we could make it,it hurts that we have to mss the special day of some
special friends, The new boss wont let me have time off and for many reasons,we
lack$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Its great we are starting to have returmees and more activity around here!

Jeff, you know i wish i could wish you well again......but i will wish it anyway :)

why is it that when you want something so bad.............you are afraid to just go for it, yet when it is not all that important you can? is the level of embarrassment really all that different?

Maybe because when we really want or need something, we become much more vulnerable. It is human nature to want to protect ourselves from pain...

Jeff - Hope you are back to your normal, obnoxious self soon. Oh, wait... you still have the obnoxious part down pat. :D

Seriously, I hope you are feeling more in the swing of things very soon.

As for me, my little boy is having minor surgery bright and early tomorrow. Positive thoughts are welcome. Even though it is no big deal, the mother part of me is nervous about the anesthesia and how scared he will probably feel going in there. :(

Thank you! And the wonderful sense of humor is a gift. Obnoxious isn't even in my vocabulary. ;)

I'll keep you and the kiddo in my thoughts for tomorrow.

Update: The surgery went very well and was over before we knew it. He was such a trooper... the only one crying was me after they took him back. Thanks for the positive thoughts.

UCLA Hormonal Study

A study conducted by UCLA's Department of Psychiatry has revealed that the kind of male face a woman finds attractive can differ depending on where she is in her menstrual cycle.

For instance, if she is ovulating, she is attracted to men with rugged and masculine features. However, if she is menstruating, or menopausal, she is more prone to be attracted to a man with scissors lodged in his temple and a bat jammed up his butt while he's on fire.

No further studies are expected.

I always thought slow dancing was better ... unless aerobic exercise was the object ...

Woohoo! Floating in on a bridal cloud, doing the happy dance!

I just found out SS and wife are coming to our wedding! And of course our very own resident Fiesty One being in the bridal party. I just had to come by and pour myself a FLD for old times sake to celebrate!
Sorta ... I will not, absolutely will not!!! tend bar at your wedding or reception ... I plan on having fun ... not incinerating myself while making FLDs ... ;)
I'm sorry that Oman & Jenny can't make it but will keep them close to our hearts as with everyone else here that's lovingly saw us through to this big day!
I really wish Oman and Jenny could be there too ... but if they were it would be so close to heaven or the apocalypse that I would really be looking over my shoulder ... still ... I'd rather be looking over my shoulder ...

Jewelz, get your butt down here! :nana:
Ummm ... what she said .. in triplicate!!!!
