Just wanted to let you know that the job Oman had really wanted did NOT come through after all.

However, he took the news fairly well, and he does have another job (that has already accepted him, but will be paying less money) starting the end of January.

At any rate, I'm confessing that I'm glad he'll be more "local" in 2005!

Rats!!!! *grumble*, *curse*

Oman, I'm happy that you do have the one job in hand that will keep you local ... but the less money does bite. However the being away week after week from your love also bites the big one! I'm going to keep on hoping that you find a position that is both local and has good bump in pay! It's out there and I know you will find it!

Hiya SS....evening is going well thanks....Hope your day/morning is going well...

well, it's very early morning for me right now ('bout 2:30am). Had an enjoyable evening playing trivia with friends and then came home and did a fair bit of work ... got a big change I will be implementing this weekend across our network and still a lot of things to get done.

Anyway, its time to knock off, relax, and then head to bed ... since I have to be back up and on a conference call at 8am ... I'll be glad when this weekend is over and hopefully the work situation will be calm for a couple of weeks (hopefully!!)

Was a real lazy butt after that last exam......did up the letters from Santa for the kids in the family, then just unplugged

I've tried listening to the carols, putting a tree in my office, shopping, menu planning......nothing is working. Oh well, still got a week to go to find some And if by chance, I don't manage a little bit of the warm fuzzy, then I'll just fake it

If you had no limits, what would you be hoping Santa leaves under your tree?

The buff guys are nice to look at....but they generally prefer looking at buff boys too

The white Christmas is part of the magic.....all this time living in the sub tropics and I still can't get used to Christmas warm enough to wear shorts Many a year if I want a traditional fire in the fire place I gotta drop the AC to freezing.......

True, I do ... however a white christmas is a rarity here. December and January tend to be dry months here in the metro area (now the mountains just a few miles west ... that's a different story). Right now there is no snow on the ground (despite an inch that fell 36 hours ago ... it's burned off already)
