of course my first reply was to the effect of who needs sheets? ... and then I remembered the cost of replacing mattresses ... so ... I went out and bought you two new sets of sheets ... but I do wish you had told me what size bed we were talking about ... after buying two sets for every size bed imaginable I found I'd exceeded the cost of a mattress ...

I agree with this so much ...
I both disagree and agree with this ... can you have exactly what you have built up in your mind? ... Probably not (mind you I said probably, not absolutely!!) ... and it's quite possible that the vision you have developed in your mind can not be perfectly implemented ...
... but in the more general sense of having a home that provides warmth and nutures you, that satisfies the desires that you and all people have, that provides you a place of rest and haven ... and beyond all not only makes you happy but enables you to give that gift to others as well ... you can have it. It is there. No one should ever stop desiring it or striving to achieve it. It is real. It is likely it is something that will be achieved, something you can and will create (for yourself, and hopefully for others as well) ... and so be doubly blessed ... don't ever stop wanting it or working to achieve it ...
My thoughts and hopes and hugs are with you ...
