Yep its spring here and the days are eventually getting warmer - better for me.

Funny, but you look forward to the warm days there and I look forward to the cool days here....it's around 5:45AM and a crisp 55 outside. A cold front passed through, looking at a high of 80...that is farenhite....not sure how that figures to celcius (or how to spell it )

Its 9:15pm here and i gots no idea what the current temp is lol.

i would roughly guess 80 = low to mid 20's in celsius.

There is some math equation to figure it out....but it escapes me right now. Maybe 32F = zero C and go from there.....need more coffee

Congratulations to you IL. As for the sleep thing just do what one of the guys in my PC repair coure does and learn to sleep with your eyes open. Nobody will suspect anything.

In addition to comp time my company gave me for next week they gave me this friday off too and also let me use my vacation time for the following week. All this means is Im off until the monday after thanksgiving!!!

Tonight, I went back and looked over a lot of my old posts. I was very surprised by the time gap between when I first posted in this thread to when I becamse somewhat of a regular here before going into semi-permanent lurk mode... I didn't remember it happening like that at all... interesting.

I was surprised reading my own posts how shallow many of them sounded.

I've met a lot of fascinating people here. I only wish I had more to share.

Ah, you see Happy, the thing is I'm in Canada. THe NHL could go straight to hell and we'd still have hockey. We just don't have NHL hockey. But you know what? The NHL CAN go straight to hell and not one of us will lose a moment's sleep over it. A bunch of greedy owners and greedy players will not ruin hockey, becasue we won't let them. We will always have hockey. It's part of who we are in this country.

Thanks Toni for the insight...and you will be happy yo know that the day went more to your advise than I had orginally planned. Spent the day catching up with friends I haven't had time to see and made up with an old friend that I had been at odds with for a while.

Good morning everyone. Long time no post! I've lurked now and then, just haven't felt much like posting. Mostly been tired...

Things are good, just have been very busy with work, and well, with life. Nigel has taken a new graveyard shift job. Its a fun job for him, much, much better than the last one, and that makes me happy but I miss him like hell. We cherish the few hours we have every night, and know that this is temporary and is merely a means to an end. But its been a tough adjustment.

Its nice to see old friends popping in. I hope that life has been treating you well. For the regulars, I hope the same for you.
