you know, I was the overweight nerd in middle school, then I won the genetic lottery and grew quite a bit from spring of 8th to fall of 9th...and then I was a well bbuilt nerd. thankfully I never forgot what the other side was like. and I still feel the rage sometimes. And lately, just a thought of this person's name is enough.

I still want to stay on your good side. Maybe you need to find a different kind of release for that built up tension?

Thanks for the lovely compliment KK...and Oman, you are probably right, we were a 'family' of sorts once upon a time, if a bit dysfunctional and unconventional.

Here's the situation. My 2nd son will be 19 in a couple weeks. First year in college 2 states away from home. For the last 3 years of his high school life he rarely left the house except to play soccer, which he did 2 seasons out of the year. Granted, that's a lot of soccer, but still. Very few friends, albeit very close friends. Never had a girlfriend. Nope, never. Now he's at school and.... today he is flying (for the first time) from Chicago to St. Pete's Beach, FL. with..........

5 girls!!!

Spring break. Oh my. Someone, everyone, please pray for my sanity.

He is armed with his camera and laptop. I can only imagine what his Facebook will look like after this.
