*True Confessions*

Greetings (to all those who are old hands here) and salutations (to those recently dropping in such as snake and the pals of Al) to all!

I'd say I'd say I'm sorry and promise to do better next time (both of which are true and well meant!) ... but I've a confession to make which applies here.

To wit (and I know this may sound a bit rambling):
Oman, Jenny, I was (and am) so happy to hear that the events in your city passed you by ... I hope that such events continue to have you as mere spectators ... more, that even such such an out of the way association is too close. I would that such items touch you as only old news and far distant, if that at all.

That incident, followed by the senseless acts in Colorado ...

I do promise to do better next time, but that promise is to myself, a pledge to improve myself. To you, to those I have come to care about and those I will in the future, next time is insufficient. It is this time that is important. That mythical "next time" may never be, and to fall short now with the thought I'll make it up "next time" is ... a falsehood.

I pledge to say now what I would have said "next time" ... and in so doing never again find myself wishing "if only ...".

guess I miss read your post sorry.....not your fault........you bad but in a good way :D;)

The drawback to communicating with the written (typed) word is you can not see the facial expressions of the writer. Sometimes what you intended the words to convey misses the mark.

For the record - I'm always good and sometimes even better

I sometimes fantasize about underage girls...sick, I know.
I don't want to but I let my mind wonder too far sometimes...

my confession

If this is still the confession booth here goes, i have just moved into a new flat. Two days after being here i realised that when you are in my bathroom you can hear as clear as in the same room the couple above me. The reason i noticed it was because they were talking very dirty to each other and then had, what sounded like pretty amazing sex.

I guess my confession is I stayed and listened to al of it and got very turned on, however now when i see them around the flats i cant look them in the face. lol

This is still the confession booth ... even though I must admit that it has become a rather quiet confessional at times. Personally, I think it's been quiet the last few weeks because everybody has been on their best behavior ... after all, Santa is watching and putting his final tallies on the naughty and nice scoreboard! I know that there is a special something that I'm hoping Santa leaves under the tree! So I've been on my very best behavior.

and as everyone who knows me can tell you I'm a very good boy to begin with!

Damn! I think I just bit my tongue!

Sam! That was a great confession! I don't think I've heard quite that twist in here before (and there have been some dillies!). Hope you stop back in!

I think I'll send my best wishes for a happy and safe (and really fun!) holiday season to all the TC'ers! I hadn't planned on sending it out so early ... but given the dearth of visits by those I most want to wish a "merry, merry" to ... thought it best to send out now!!!

Oman! Jenny!! Besides the well wishes, I'm hoping one of thee will stop by and let us know that you've survived the ice storms! I've work buddies in Cedar Rapids and I know they got smacked pretty good on the first storm and then had some more dumped on them 2-3 days ago! Please tell me everything is ok?!

Confession:

I managed to make myself officially worried. It's been 10 days since Oman last dropped (before that vicious ice storm that tore across the midwest (and then was so pleasant on the east coast)).

Well of course there was no reason to worry. Must just be a busy work time for him (or he's working on some fabulous hand made gift for Jenny). I finally went looking for posts by Jenny and sure enough she has popped in here and there.

Oman ... when you finally do read this ... Don't Scare the Bartender!!! or you'll find on the next drink I serve you I'll misunderstand and it won't be a "Black&Tan", but rather "Flat&Bland" ...:caning:

Hmmmmm, this story has a familiar ring to it ;)

Merry Christmas TC'ers! Hope you had a wonderful holiday and it was filled with good times with family and friends. *hangs mistletoe around the Confessional*

We had a great Christmas, sharing it with our next door neighbors who are really nice :)

No need to be worried about us

Omaha has certainly had its share of hardships, but we are doing very well.

We did have a bad dose of ice covering everything, and have only had a few days of above freezing weather (fortunately, Christmas was a beautiful day). I can't believe I loved the snow and icy weather when I was young!

Oman's been working extra long days: even though he's off on the holidays, he still has to make up the extra hours.:(

Happily, this will all pay off for us this weekend; he'll be off for FOUR days in a row!:nana:

Also, "Santa" gave us a new computer, so you'll hear from us more often.:)
