Yeah, with all the hype I'm hearing from American fans, you'd almost think just one of Martin St. Louis, Brad Richards, Vincent Lecavalier, Ruslan Fetotenko, Nikolai Khabibulin or Dave Andrechuk was an American player. But no.

Fun fact: last team to win the Stanley Cup without 40% of the team or more as Canadian content:

Seattle.

In 1917.

But yes, Canada's been beaten again.

Hey, Tampa Bay sould be proud. Their team won their division for two straight years, won the Eastern Conference top seed, won the Eastern Conference playoffs, and won the Stanley Cup. True, it still would have been nice to see a club based in Canada winthe cup for the first time in a while and I won't pretend I wasn't cheering for Calgary (and being from Edmonton you have to understand that's like a Yankees fan cheering for the Mets) but either team is a deserving champion. It was a great series, and an overall fantastic playoffs.

Hey, Tampa Bay sould be proud. Their team won their division for two straight years, won the Eastern Conference top seed, won the Eastern Conference playoffs, and won the Stanley Cup. I won't pretend I wasn't cheering for Calgary (and being from Edmonton you have to understand that's like a Yankees fan cheering for the Mets) but either team is a deserving champion. It was a great series, and an overall fantastic playoffs.

I agree, the games were a lot of fun to watch. And it doesn't hurt that Dave Andreychuk is a hottie!
