Does Saturday still rule supreme or does the day of rest claim the hour?
Is it the present, or is the concept of time fluid?
Does life rule me? ... or I do I really have the power?

But if the past could be returned to, wouldn't you then be living in the past and wouldn't that make it now and not the past? Does the present and the past exist at the same time? And if it does wouldn't that make every second of the past, the present also? And if the past still exists then wouldn't that make the present, the future to the past? If it does, then is this really the past and tomorrow the present? Or does the past no longer exist? But if it no longer existed then how could it influence the present? How could we remember the past if it no longer existed? And if there is no past, then is there really a future or is there only the present and no more?

Of course there is a past. Some people stay "stuck." However, that is by choice. Conscious or not. Perfect example: My Daddy. I love him dearly however, he will NOT let go of the past. He had a horrible childhood and refuses to forgive and MOVE ON with his life.

My mom divorced him THIRTY YEARS!!!!!! ago and he will not forgive her and is covinced she was deliberate

Thirty fuckin years and this man doesn't go a day without bringing it up.

He ate bread and molasses yadda yadda yadda.......lived in a trailer with no plumbing blah blah blah.

Get over it!!!!!!!!!!! He went to college forever ago became an incredible surgeon however, he still has the orphan poor kid mentality which is such a shame.

He alone made a decision not to go to therapy and move on with his life.

I am so convinced life and how you live it is all about choices you make. No one else is living my life for me as far as I know.

.........and? Life is pretty damn good!!

As far as the past, present and future? Philosophers will analyze that and attempt to convince you today is the past. Yes, eventually but at this moment? It is the present.

i have waited for a long time and now it is within my reach, why i am scared to embrace what i want, have wanted and be happy. it is consuming my thoughts and my nights. does this mean that what i wanted was wrong and once again i am lost or does one always get scared when dreams come true.

When dreams come true, one becomes scared, excited, nervious, thrilled, nacious, estatic, petrafied and overjoyed. Part of being human.

Another biggie is fear of happiness or success (i.e.) thinking you don't deserve it and such.

Is this something that is happening soon? I hope so especially if it is affecting your sleep.

Oh absolutely I agree. This soon will be a past in the future. Even tomorrow. So in some ways you do live all three at the same time.

Some people forget however to 'let go' and 'move on.'

if i had parents to tell i would not feel like this.....but for the past 28 years i have had to make decisions on my own.....my record of success........is 0
