Your situation is very, very common. I was there myself. Your partner sounds great, but I would suggest experimenting alone for a while. Sometimes even if the other person is as great as can be, when you specifically set out with such a daunting end result, there can be too much pressure. Have you tried the vibrator without him there? I would suggest doing that as a first step.

I guess I never really thought about it before. I haven't been having sex for that long, but when I started, it was with a man 15 years older than myself. Even though he's older than me, he still seemed young when it came to sex...I mean as in hurrying to get to the finish, you know what I mean? And I never had an orgasm, and never really thought about it. If he was enjoying himself, that's what counted, and sure, I liked it too, but did I really need to have an orgasm? Now, I have a lover that is extremely attentive to my body, and he can read my body and tell I'm not responding.
