Trillian ... anyone

I've been using it for quite awhile now. I only use ICQ, AIM and the IRC every now and then, but there's no spywear that comes with it and it actually runs pretty well for me.

Yup I use trillian, it works well for me and i can't say I have had any problems with it. I don't know very much technically about it, thats my hubby's business!*L*

thank you Dietrich and Lady
I may have to give it a try then :D

Call me paranoid but I like to check things out before I install them on my "baby".

trillian, Isn't that a white flower, shade loving, that blooms in the spring. Three petals on the flower, three leafs? Oh. wait, that trillium. Sorry.

I'm sure you could download a skin with pretty white flowers. :D there were tonnes there.

Trillian rocks. There are a few things you can't do with it that can be done with the componet systems, but all in all it's a great program

I have it but rarely use it. I originally d/l it so that I wouldn't have to open up both my Yahoo and MSN. But I use three different MSN's and two different Yahoo's (when I bother with Yahoo at all), and I didn't care much for the layout.

But I haven't had any problems with it.

I changed over to it both at home and at work. I've had no problems with it at all, and there's no spyware packaged with it.

I regret that it doesn't have the conferencing or file transfer capability for Yahoo, although apparently file transfer works in AIM and ICQ on the free version.

It took a few hours to settle into the layout, but preferences were neatly laid out and simple to set and reset.

I think the best thing about it is being able to have multiple logins within each IM open at the same time with different availability statuses. For example, at work I have work@yahoo, work@AIM and work@icq both on available and personal@yahoo and personal@icq on invisible.

I'm also sending you a PM regarding another topic in Trillian.
