It's not a rose or a candle, but if I could send flowers to Vana right now, they would be the ones in my AV. Gentle. Beautiful. Full of hope and love.

I was gonna switch back to my old Tattoo AV, since it's a rose...

but I had this pic in My Pictures. I took it at San Diego De Acala (the first spanish mission founded by Father Junipero Sera in California) with Perdita in 2005 and the combination of a place of serenity, of worship and hope, of the requested Rose and a Literotica connection made it just too perfect...

...and yes, I know there is an interesting juxtaposition in a man who fancies himself a Warrior Poet and takes pictures of flowers...

It's only odd in western society. Samurai were known for doing flower arrangements as well as writing poetry

Maybe in a past life....?

I wouldn't mind knowing such a thing to be true...there were/are many admirable things about their beliefs and view of their own role in society.

When someone leaves, the Ojibway light a sacred fire, and keep it burning for four days, so that they may find their way to the next world by it's light.

I'll keep this AV lit for the next four days, in tribute. It's not the same, but it's the best I can do.
