Me I go and see every disney animated film. I just like em that much. So I just went and saw treasure planet tonight (7:30 showing)

it was fucking SWEEET.

It just looks like they slapped Treasure Island together with Star Trek... and said "whammo, a new movie!!"

That said, I'll still probably buy it on DVD like I do most Disney movies.

A cartoon Goonies? Suddenly I like it a lot more. But if I were to go watch it, I would know in the back of my head it's supposed to be a take on Treasure Island. Disney has quite a track record for taking liberties on movie adaptations of stories. So that would probably sour it.

Anyone ever play Skies of Arcadia on the Dreamcast (coming to the GameCube in early 2003)? The commercials remind me a lot of that, except the movie involves plaentary travel. But if it's as fun as the game, I'm sold.

We went and saw it last Sunday, it wasn't bad.. we'll probably get it when it gets out on video.

It has the voices of Niles Crane from Frasier, and Tommy(?) from 3rd Rock from the Sun... and Jackie from Roseanne, that I could recognise.
