Hey all

I'm going to travel the world within the next 6 months and i want people to tell me where are some good places to visit ... you can't get info about a place anywhere better than from the locals!

Im going to europe first then heading across to america/canada and then to south america before heading to asia then coming home to Oz.

I'd love to hear from anyone!

Cheers :D

I lived in Rome for four months, but to recommend a single place in that city? um, if I lived there for forty years I'd still not have seen everything that amazing city has to offer. BUT, I can make some suggestions, always order the house wine, keep your backpack over one shoulder on public transit and not all the way on your back, visit the cemetary at the Pyramide stop (my favorite spot, where Keats and Severn are buried), old bridge gelato for the fruit flavors, Millenium gelato for the candy flavors (both are on the north side of the Vatican between St Peters and Piazzale degli Eroi), go ahead and drink the water on the streets (it's safe and cleaner than the tap water), explore without fear of getting lost - you're gonna get lost anyway so why fear it, and never ever be a tourist.

Where to go....

A sesoned traveller....

Born in London an excellent place to visit, find the cool pubs and museums to hang at, coffee shops, bars, clubs. If you like the country head out of london to the southern coast Brighton no more than 2 hours away awesome nightlife.

(So much more to be said)

Left London to Live in France... Paris - Jois De Vie... So many places to chill, meet poeple and see. Lived on the south coast and the north west coast. The south is the Med hot sandy beaches, cafes on the sea, the north east cool very green and laid back fishing towns.

(Again so much to be said)

Now living in the good 'ol US of A, have seen a lot here and still have way to much to see. New York, Chicago, Denver, San Fransisco, Montery.... Mountains to Plains to Oceans and all the sights and nightlife in between...
