I've got news for you, if you leave NATO, that doesn't end NATO. It weakens NATO, and alienates the US even more than what Trump has done so far, and it will take away about 3% of your GDP that is earned by sales of military equipment and weapons to NATO's members.

Which is why Trump is demanding NATO spend more on defence. The vast majority of weapons NATO uses are US made. So it makes sense for Trump to push for this. Tourism from Canada is expected to dip 15 percent, according to Tourism Economics. Trudeau last month urged Canadians to reconsider visiting the U.S. and travel locally instead. Flight Centre, Canada’s largest travel agency, told Forbes early last month that it had already seen a “surge of customers” canceling U.S. vacations and rebooking elsewhere.

However you look at it, this is going to cost us a big loss of income in the tourist sector. With the increasingly vocal hostility of Trump towards Canada, they'll simply go elsewhere. I just wonder which sector Trump is going to target next.

We're not waiting, and I doubt any other country is. A lot can change in 3 more years. Myself I doubt Trump will leave office ( assuming he's still alive), and will invent a reason to stay in office. His supporters will of course cheer this on.

Trump has fucked the US in the eyes of all the western world, though many will not openly say this. Canada however is dead in his cross-sights, and I have no quams about saying it. To the rest of the US fuck you too. Either stand up to the tyrant, or submit. Your choice but don't expect me or anyother Canadain to EVER respect or deal with the USA.

China will now be right on the largest undefended border in the world, and you can thank Trump for that.
