Trash on TV

Will and Grace is crap.

I dont think its any more explicit blah blah blah etc... its just a bad show.

Hell, my in-laws think that Klinger from M*A*S*H was a bad thing to see on TV.

Personally, I think it should be up to the parents to monitor what their kids see on TV or in movies. My kids cannot watch overly violent movies...but I don't mind a little sexual explicitness. Reason being, sex is more natural and the more knowledgeable they are, the better off they will be as adults. I did not say pornography...just stuff like mild/brief nudity and movies with some sexual undertones.

i saw samurai films where you saw people get choped in half at the same age


and now look im the most violent and destructive person on lit :)

Another thing, QAF is on after 10:00 when all influincable children should be in bed. So, there. AND for those of you who don't like Will & Grace is one of the best sitcoms on television, so there! Any one who disagrees, your just mean!
 
Major premise: All TV is trash.
Minor premise: "Will and Grace" is on TV.
Conclusion: "Will and Grace" is trash.
 
Yeah I agree with Jim Henson. Will and Grace is a crappy show, but it isn't "filth". TV doesn't really have any good filth. Damn them.
 
I'm not a big fan of Will and Grace, but yet, I don't think it's trash. Comedy is supposed to be just that...comedy. Not a moral or social statement, just comedy. If it does make a statement, that's just an added bonus.

the only problem is if the poster that originally made the statement made it to mean that he thought will and grace was unwatchable because of quality rather than moral reasons

but i do get what you're saying i expect some parents would not let their children watch programmes with any gay issues in them
 
I guess they won't be watching Graham Norton (?) anytime soon then?

I actually think TV needs more shows regarding homosexuality....

Because that is REAL as well....
 
some people take themselves too seriously

Of course Will and Grace is trash. But its entertainment. Entertainment rarely has any value outside of that function.

If people are watching it, then it cant be all bad.

I am really interested in knowing your take on American Television. Care to tell me what you like and don't, and why?

I hate most of television, but I am going to check out a few new shows this fall, maybe. I missed the start of the one I wanted to see, so now I don't know if I'll be interested. Proably not, unless it is really good.

It is the one called The Haunted.

Anyone seen the first two eps?
