A simple scenario where odds become couples... or threesomes, foursomes, moresomes?

I was going to post "I've written mine, but there are infinite variations" then I realized that the elevator in mine never really traps the participants. It was just about The Bride Who Could not Wait.

You don't need to be your "wedding period" to try this setting.
Elevators are everywhere- not just hotels, but schools, apartment buildings, office buildings, dorms...
So, you can cast anything from strangers to family members, with a whole rainbow in between:
- frenemies, enemies,
-teacher/pupil, prof/student
-boss/intern
-competitors for that next promotion
-soon to be ex spouses at the divorce lawyers
-your soon to be ex-spouse's new same sex bi lover
-food delivery driver and anybody hungry for sex
-the babe from the 14th floor who you aways see at the dog park
-the himbo supposedly tutoring Mrs. Rochambeau's daughter, who you just know is bopping both of them
-and the list goes on...

Scientist transporting an alien life form. Another passenger accidentally breaks the seal on the container that it was in and runs off while the scientist is quarantined in there with it.

Alien (I was thinking a slime or tentacle like creature but it could be something bipedal) reveals it’s somewhat telepathic and is well aware of all the the fantasies she’s been having as well as how she feels touch starved and it wants to help.

They’re stuck on the elevator till the facility comes up with a plan and that could take hours if not days.

Has nobody there seen any of the Alien movies?
You NEVER ever transport alien life forms. That never ends well.
