It would appear that Mellian has been taken out of context. She was merely as she says offering constructive criticism with regard to the retouching of Nicki’s photographs using photoshop, and not trying to put her or what she is doing here at Lit down.

Retouching is something that every professional photographer does in some way shape or form. It finishes the job off. So come on Nicki, I think Mellian was actually trying to be helpfull.

So unless I’ve missed a thread and have opened my big mouth too soon, will you girls all kiss an make up eh? Please? You too sis. You know I don't get on my soap box very often.

I think Nicki does a great job of what she does, especially considering the amount of pic/posts she puts out of herself. I wouldn't have the balls to do it I'm glad she has! (No pun intended!)

It is possible that I was too hasty in moving to a defensive posture. Nicki has been attacked intentionally on this thread by another poster. Mellian's comments were all too similar. If I jumped the gun, I am sorry.

I think NIck should be praised for what she is doing. She is a beautiful person, in every way. I appreaciate her openness, her creativity, and her sense of humor. To say nothing of the incredible SEXUALITY!!!

I will have to admit being around during the "Daisy Dukes" era, and even removing more than my share from a beautiful ass after they had driven me half crazy with lust. After my divorce, I spent a lot of time catching up after being married for 10 years. Much of that time was spent downtown Atlanta. I got to know a lot of dancers(strippers), entertainers, and other people who either worked in the clubs or were tied to them. There were a lot of perfect bodied hotties running around in those little shorts, even wearing their high heels with them. You just don't get to see that much anymore. Although I am not sure of the answer, I am sure of what I would like for it to be, and it has agreat deal to do with my obsession. I try to present myself in such a way that I think will be considered erotic. I somehow think that since I believe I have found a happy medium for myself with gender identification that I unconciously exclude the idea that others would see what I do differently. I guess what I am trying to say is that I see(from what I believe) my image from both perspectives, male and female, and without distinction in my mind, end up with Nicki, who from that perspective, wishes to please both.
Also, I believe it is somewhat easier to impress a man, and that when I also am successful in attracting a females attention as well that I have accomplished something even more wonderful. That is why I guess I am usually blushing when I get a compliment from a woman. Knowing only part of what it is they go through when enhancing their beauty, and then having them recognize that I have tried to do the same gives me an overwhelming feeling of fulfillment and validation.
It also turns me on and gives me confidence.
